Elaine clung softly to Nolan’s sleeve, her tone bordering on a coy plea.
But the moment Nolan heard Eliza and Henry’s names mentioned together, his eyes turned cold.
“Who told you that?”
Sensing his displeasure, Elaine quickly answered, “Who else? Everyone at school knows. I’ve been sick for so
