Chapter 128
Third Person POV
The moment Alex had said the word “Deal” had become a totally new meaning to Kade. Knowing that Alex would truly honor his words as he was the Lycan King, King of all the Werewolves that he knew he’d be accepted into a pack if asked.
‘Don’t count your blessings yet mate. He might decide not to once he has what he needs out of you‘ warns Bishop, trying to throw caution 1 to the wind as they continue to watch the man stand before them.
Shoving his worry aside for now, Kade tries not to let it show just how much it had affected him. Having been hoping to find a new place to call home and being unsuccessful while in the process.
“But… before we speak any further, I do need for you to meet with Alpha Eros and Alpha Ares. The Alpha twins of the Mystic Shadow Pack” warns Alex, his tone light but still authoritative.
“Sure” admits Kade, nervous to be meeting the famous Alpha twins first hand.
“Don’t worry, they’ll be good” assures Alex as he moves to contact the twins, having been able to talk to them since combining the packs as if it was almost like one huge link between each of them.
Nodding his head, Kade just sits and waits for them to arrive, unsure of what else to do. His eyes constantly shifting to that of Rosalyn, hoping she would be okay as he knew Lily could have killed her if she had truly wanted to yet didn’t, which meant she still needed her for something.
‘Relax… She’s safe and that’s all that matters‘ replies Bishop, knowing Kade was still worried for the Witch.
Sighing, he slowly tries to do as Bishop suggests and decides to make himself as comfortable as he could until the Alpha twins had finally
arrived to speak with them.
-30 Minutes Later-
How much longer? Groans Kade silently, wanting to be done already but knew that he couldn’t, not when he was still technically a guest within King Alexander’s home.
Suddenly, as if answering his prayer does the sound of knocking finally reach their ears, Alex moving to answer the door, his body making the short strides it needed to answer the door, Kade still sitting next to Rosalyn while being unsure of what to do as the voices finally
reach his own ears.
“You called for us Alex?” voices Ares as he and his brother now move to stand before him.
“Yes. I’ve summoned you both here tonight because I have a visitor. Someone who wishes to join our pack or your pack I should say” admits Alex, now gesturing for them to enter.
Upon entering the house do both Ares and Eros both move to confront Kade. Their eyes taking in his 6’5 frame, unsure of how to approach him until the scent catches their attention causing them to bare their teeth and growl.
“ROGUE?” growls Eros, his tone now shifting at the scent of Kade.
“What about it?” growls Kade, not liking the tone or the accusation.
“PLENTY!” snaps Eros again, his eyes never leaving his as they continue to watch one another from their assigned spots within the room.
“Yeah well the feelings are mutual” grunts Kade, his eyes now narrowing at the Alphas before him.

“ENOUGH. He doesn’t mean any harm. In fact it’s because of him that my mate is now safe” admits Alex, his voice drawing the attention of both Alpha’s to him as they now take in the unconscious girl on the touch.
“The Witch?” asks Ares, wanting to make sure he was smelling correct!
“Yes.”
“Hmmm” hums Ares, his eyes slowly turning towards the direction of Rade. “Tell us. Who are you and why are you here? Where do you come from?”
“The names Kade, Kade Stone, I’m here on behalf of my friend” remarks Kade, gesturing to the girl lying next to him.
“And where do you come from?” asks Eros, not missing the fact that he had missed that part of the question.
“A pack that was once called the Whiteclaw Pack. A pack–that’s now completely destroyed by Hunters” answers Kade, almost wishing that he hadn’t.
At the mention of Hunters do each of them growl before Ares moves to speak yet again. “And what about the girl? The Witch? What pack
is she from?”
“Her name is Rosalyn. Not sure what pack or Coven she comes from. Never bothered asking her” admits Kade truthfully.
“Why?” asks Eros.
“Because I wasn’t looking for a friend nor was she my mate. Plus we each had direct orders from Lily not to waste valuable time goofing off” scoffs Kade, Lily’s name like a plague that just wouldn’t leave well enough alone.
With the mention of Lily’s name, do both Ares and Eros move to growl once more, still not happy with her nor of the trouble she kept presenting to their mate, their Luna.
“Where is she?” growls Ares this time, wanting to know exactly where Lily was.
“Hidden for the moment. Somewhere within a Coven of Witches. The Shadowmoon Coven I believe” answers Kade, hoping he was correct on the Coven, having never seen them while helping her nor did he want to.
“Shadowmoon?”
asks Eros,
not totally familiar with that specific Coven of Witches.
“A small Coven. One that doesn’t normally interfere with others unless something goes wrong or they are provoked. Plus I’ve only met them a few handful of times but that was about it” answers Alex, as if he suddenly knew of the pack.
“Indeed. But Lily had them under lock and key at the moment. As she’ll do just about anything to make sure that they listen to her. For Lily plans to use them in aiding her, to have them help her in securing your mate from right under your noses” replies Kade, as if remembering that little bit of information.
“WHAT?!” growl both the twins.
“Since when?” asks Eros, the need to know rising.
“Since Rosalyn and I became her new pawns. She has us safe guarding your mate day in and day out without fail.”
At the mention of watching do both Ares and Eros move to bare their teeth, their focus still on the man in front of them as they did. “So it WAS you and the Witch that we kept smelling around our home” growls Ares, not liking that one bit.
Growling himself does Kade move to snap. “Not like we had a choice in the matter. I would have taken to looking for my mate or avenging my pack then sit here and spy for that bitch but Rosalyn is the closest thing I have to a friend right now so believe me when I say I will not gamble with her life for mine.”

Pausing at his words, the twins slowly try to consider all the information that was given to them just now, Alex now back near his unconscious mate as he tries to listen to the twins come up with a decision on Kade,
“What’s your decision on all this Alex?” asks Ares, now wanting to know what he thought of everything thus far before passing judgment on the Rogue.
“My decision?” asks Alex, his eyes glancing towards Ares and Eros. Are nodding his head in response before speaking.
“Yeah”
“Well.. if it were up to me I would be helping Kade and Rosalyn first. Make Kade a member of the pack as well as my mate and then work with what we know. As we all know Lily’s target is clearly your mate and my niece. We also know she plans to use a Coven of Witches to help do so with that. The only thing we don’t know is when” admits Alex truthfully.
Now fearing the unknown do Ares and Eros both move to sigh. Each nodding their heads slowly before Ares moves to look at Kade once again. “Although I’m a tad bit hesitant about doing this, you did help save a life and for that we’re grateful. So in return for your help and knowledge of Lily we’ll grant you safe entrance into the Mystic Shadow Pack, from there on you will be allowed to come and go as you please and we’ll even give you a place to live and call home. All that we ask of you is that you help us should we need it” remarks Ares as he moves to stand closer to Kade.
“I’ll do my absolute best. And thank you” was all Kade says as he moves to stand next to Ares, Ares now moving to initiate the Welcoming Ceremony for Kade, knowing that in order to find Lily they needed Kade and of course Rosalyn once she was well enough to help out.
“Ready?” asks Ares, his eyes firm.
“Ready” was all Kade says as they move to join hands and complete the bonding between Alpha and Pack Mate.
