A short while later, Professor Liam gave her a call, asking if she was available next week to attend the AI panel discussion hosted by their university.
In fact, the invitation to Q University’s Al panel had already been sent to Cole two weeks earlier.
Originally, the invite had been extended to Johnny.
However, after Maggie’s recent paper was published and stirred up a buzz in the industry–with its undeniable depth and innovation–the university now hoped she could join the panel as well.
To be honest, Maggie hadn’t seriously considered attending the Q University event.
Although her paper had made a huge splash, she herself had kept a low profile, turning down all interview requests.
Professor Liam gently urged,
“There are a lot of students here who would love to meet you in person–talk with you, learn from your experience…
After some persuasion, Maggie agreed to attend.
The Q University event had also invited many industry experts, academics, and corporate representatives.
The day of the panel, Q University was abuzz with excitement.
Julia attended the event as the representative of Wilson Tech
Thanks to her previous appearance with Dr. Smith during his America visit, the industry was now well aware that she was his doctoral student. That alone had earned her a respectable reputation.
Professor Liam, who knew her, approached politely when he saw her arrive.

Just then, Maggie and Johnny arrived.

Julia’s smile faltered slightly.
