Katelyn’s face was full of disbelief, and in an instant, she plopped into the swimming pool.
Lenora cast a disdainful glance at her, then brushed her hand over the spot touched by Katelyn, meeting the gaze of Harley.

Katelyn, drenched and disheveled, was pulled up by her friends from the pool. She glanced up at Lenora, who was being held back by Carla and was about to speak when she saw Harley pop up.
She pursed her lips and walked wetly up to Lenora, looking at her with a puzzled and wronged expression. “Ms. Maynard. I honestly haven’t done anything to wrong you. Why are you doing this to me?” As she spoke, she coughed vehemently.
Lenora looked at Katelyn before her. Just out of the swimming pool, Katelyn appeared a bit disheveled, but coupled with such a pitiable expression, her pitiful state outweighed her disarray.
People around were already whispering. Carla acted like a crusader for justice, even pulling Lenora up. “Don’t even think about denying it! I just saw it with my own eyes! You pushed Katelyn into the swimming pool!” she said angrily, and then her gaze fell on Harley.
As if thinking of something, she added, “Oh, right! My brother was standing by the floor-to-ceiling window, not far from me, he must have seen it too.
As soon as she finished, many people subconsciously turned to Harley.
Harley had indeed seen everything clearly just now. But he had no intention of getting involved in it, and being pointed out by Carla in front of everyone now, he was displeased, and his expression turned cold

But Carla was unwilling to let it go, insisting, “Katelyn, I saw it! This evil woman kicked you into the swimming pool!” She pointed at Lenora, her face dripping with righteous indignation
Having had enough of the spectacle, Lenora didn’t want to waste any more time. She raised an eyebrow and gave a chuckle. “Yes, I did kick her down.”
But her face was just too beautiful, even while she was saying something so infuriating, it was hard for the onlookers to feel

Katelyn was completely baffled by Lenora’s reaction, wondering “Shouldn’t she have flatly denied it or tried to argue her way out before finally admitting it? Why did she admit to kicking me down so soon?”
Even Carla was at a loss for words upon hearing this.
Lenora savored the stunned expressions of everyone, then leaned down close to Katelyn’s ear and spoke slowly and clearly, “Because I detest the flies buzzing around me the most. I’ve said: Harley and I are divorced, and we are no longer connected. Your target is him, not me. But you just don’t know when to quit, insisting on provoking me. Well, don’t blame me for being rude then.”
With a cold sneer. Lenora straightened up, and her smile completely faded, leaving a cold, expressionless face.
Her voice was not loud but clear enough for those around to hear distinctly.

Devon glanced at Katelyn and couldn’t help but give Harley a meaningful look. “Harley, I suddenly find that your ex-wife is quite interesting”
“What do you want to compete with the popular young heartthrob for a woman too?” Harley’s face darkened
Devon rubbed his chin, replying. Tm rich and handsome, and iny body is still in good shape. Think about it. It’s not entirely impossible
He had barely finished speaking when Harley’s expression visibly darkened further.
Devon chuckled, then restrained his laughter, nudging Harley slightly with his shoulder. “What, regretting the divorce now?”
Harley shot him a cold glance. “I regret knowing you.”
With that, he turned and walked away.
Watching him leave, Katelyn wanted to call out, but her mouth opened and closed, unable to find a reason to make him stay.
When Harley said he hadn’t noticed earlier, some onlookers had already started laughing at her, and then there was humiliation from Lenora later.
The atmosphere was already awkward enough, and if she failed to make Harley stay, she’d be the ultimate joke.
“It’s a bit cold. I need to go in and change clothes” Katelyn smiled as if nothing had happened, lowering her head and following her friends away.
