My Father 195

My Father 195

Chapter 195

Pov: Unknown

The house was dark and still. Only the sound of distant waves brushing the shoreline broke through the silence. Most of the villa had gone quiet for the night. Lights had been turned off. Voices had faded. Even the hum of footsteps that usually filled the long halls had disappeared. It was the kind of silence that made everything feel fragile. Like if you breathed too loud, it would all shatter

The observer moved slowly. Quietly. They knew exactly where to step, which floorboards creaked, which shadows gave the best cover. They had walked these halls often enough now to move without thinking. Their body knew the rhythm. The corners. The weak spots in the walls

From the edge of the hallway, they paused. The door to the tripletsroom was slightly open. Not much. Just enough for a sliver of soft yellow light to spill across the floor. Inside, they could see her. Aria. Curled between the three of them. She was lying on her side, pressed against one of the brothers. It was hard to tell which one. They all looked the same when they were half asleep and half naked. Her legs were tangled in his. Her hand rested on another’s bare chest. One of them was brushing a thumb gently over her shoulder

She looked peaceful

Too peaceful

The observer studied her quietly. Not just her face or body. But the way she had fit herself into this place. How fast it had happened. How deep it already went. The triplets had changed since she came. Softer in some ways. More distracted. Their focus shifted. Their guard lowered

And Chiara

Chiara was completely gone. Always with her head somewhere else or lust or something in between. Either way, it made her useless

The observer turned away from the door. Their steps were

Always smiling at her phone. Always locking her door. Love had taken over her too. Love

and careful as they moved through the hallway. The quiet clicking of their fingers against a small device in their pocket echoed in their ears. They were typing. Not long paragraphs. Just short notes. Quick observations. Timelines. Updates

The girl has become their center

Security remains the same

No suspicion

Chiara is distracted with love

Proceeding with next stage

They pressed send. The signal blinked

The message disappeared

A response came in seconds later. A line of green letters..

Proceed as planned. Do not engage directly

The observer smirked. A soft twitch of the lips. They were not planning to engage yet. This was only about watching. Understanding. Setting the trap, Arla didn’t even know she was the one being hunted. She thought she was safe here. That was her first mistake

They moved farther into the back end of the villa, staying close to the walls. Past the library, Past the music room no one ever used. Past the storag where the guards rarely checked. Their steps never echoed. Their hands never touched anything without purpose

They stopped at the small hidden panel just behind the linen closet. No one ever noticed it. It blended into the wall like a was born thers- inside, closing the panel gently behind them

Inside the small space, everything was dark. But they had memorized every inch of it. A small desk a cooler with water, Apoc

And in the corner, a tiny screen showing camera feeds from around the property. The boys had to idea they

The observer sat down and watched the screen. One camera showed the hallway, Another the kirchest. One

to the water. The last one was new whale, placed aside the study near Matten a deal

Chapter 195

Aria was not in any of them

But that didn’t matter. She would show up again. She always did. She liked to wander. She liked to explore. And when the time was right, she would be

alone

The observer pulled out an old photo from the drawer beside the desk. The edges were worn. The colors faded. It was of a woman. Smiling Dressed in black. There was something sad in her eyes. The observer looked at the photo for a long time

Then they tucked it back inside and typed one more message

Everything is in place

She trusts them

She will be alone soon

Then we find out what she knows

They leaned back, closed their eyes, and waited.

The plan was working

And no one suspected a thing

She had no idea how closely she was being watched, how easily her routines had become predictable, how every soft smile she gave the triplets was now recorded and filed away like pieces of a puzzle waiting to be solved, and that was what made it almost too easy, the way she trusted them so fully, the way she let her guard down more and more each day, not just with them but in this house, on this island, in this fantasy she was starting to believe was real, and the observer almost felt a little pity for her not because of weakness but because of how deeply she had sunk into this illusion of safety, how easily she had wrapped herself in the warmth of love and forgotten that love was the perfect disguise for danger, the kind of danger that didn’t strike fast but waited and circled and learned everything it needed before it moved in close enough to take what it wanted

She won’t see it coming. None of them will. Not Chiara, not the triplets, and especially not Aria. They’re too comfortable now, too wrapped up in the warmth of each other to notice what’s shifting beneath their feet. All it takes is one moment, one wellplaced nudge, and everything they’re clinging to will start to crack. The pieces are already moving. The signal’s been sent. Now all that’s left is patience. And when the time is right, when she’s finally alone, the truth they’re so desperate to protect will come spilling out whether she wants it to or not
