The simple address “Luna Blackwood” made my heart skip a beat, creating an inexplicable sense of déjà vu that I couldn’t quite explain. The words felt foreign yet familiar on my tongue, as if I had been waiting my

I unconsciously looked up at Dominic, only to find his silver–gray eyes fixed on me with an intensity like silk wrapped tightly around my soul. His gaze made my face flush and my heart race while my wolf stirred restlessly beneath my skin.
“What’s wrong?” I asked, feeling embarrassed by his intense Alpha stare. “You’re looking at me like you want
to devour me.”
Dominic smiled, his expression softening with pure adoration. Without breaking eye contact, he immediately took out his mobile phone and held it up toward our mate bonding certificates.
“I need to document this moment,” he explained, snapping several photos of the official documents. The day
Aria Summers became Luna Blackwood.”
I watched in fascination as he opened the territorial social media network and began typing. His fingers moved quickly across the screen, adding location tags and captions.
“What are you posting?” I asked curiously, trying to peek at his phone.
“Just letting the territories know their Alpha King has claimed his mate,” he replied casually, hitting the share
button.
The moment he posted it, pack congratulations and comments exploded on his timeline. Notifications flooded his screen so rapidly that I could barely read them.
“Congratulations, Alpha Dominic!” one comment read.
“Finally! We’ve been waiting for this news!” another added.
“Luna Blackwood is beautiful!” a third chimed in.
However, Dominic simply exited the app without reading the responses, pocketed his phone, and embraced me as we walked toward his luxury SUV with the Shadow Pack emblem.
“Come on, your Alpha will take you for a drive,” he said, his voice carrying possessive satisfaction.
As we settled into the vehicle, I felt a thrill at his words. “Your Alpha.” The phrase sent shivers through my
entire being.
Dominic drove away from the city center, taking us toward the outskirts of the Northern Territory. The open scenery lifted my spirits considerably, and my pregnant wolf hummed contentedly within me.
The late afternoon sun cast golden light across the landscape, creating a peaceful atmosphere that seemed perfect for new beginnings. He glanced at me with a mysterious smile, his silver–gray eyes twinkling with secrets. “You’ll know when we
arrive.”
His powerful Alpha scent surrounded me protectively in the enclosed space of the vehicle, making me feel
safer than I had in months. I settled back against the leather seat, content to let him surprise me.
The winding road led us deeper into the countryside, past ancient oak trees and stone walls that spoke of old
werewolf territories. Everything felt magical and timeless.
After what felt like an eternity of anticipation, the vehicle finally stopped at an ornate iron gate. Beyond it lay an ancient estate that looked like a paradise outside the normal werewolf territories.
“We’re here,” Dominic announced, his voice filled with barely contained excitement.
When he opened the iron gate and led me inside, I was greeted by a garden full of flowers covering almost the entire ground. The sight was so overwhelming that I covered my mouth in shock, unable to believe my
eyes.
My wolf’s enhanced senses were immediately overwhelmed by the intoxicating scents. Rose petals, jasmine, lavender, and countless other fragrances created a symphony of aromas that made my head spin with
pleasure.
Despite it being late autumn with most leaves fallen from the trees, the garden was filled with various flowers blooming in splendid competition. It was as if I had entered a sea of flowers that defied the natural seasons.
“This is impossible,” I whispered, staring at the magnificent display. “How can so many flowers be blooming
in autumn?”
Dominic approached from behind, embracing my waist and touching his forehead to mine. His Alpha presence enveloped me completely as he revealed his secret.
“I bought all the fresh flowers in the entire Northern Territory today,” he confessed with pride. “Isn’t this much.
better than ninety–nine roses?”
I finally realized he was still bothered by Alexander sending me roses previously. A laugh bubbled up from my
chest despite my amazement.
“You’re so childish,” I said, my wolf whimpering with amusement within me. “I can’t believe you’re jealous of
some stupid roses.”
I had always thought Dominic was mature and steady, the epitome of Alpha leadership. But now he seemed no different from seventeen or eighteen–year–old Alpha pups competing for attention.
Dominic didn’t refute this observation at all. Instead, he laughed contentedly and pulled me closer against his
chest.
“I’m happy to be childish when it comes to you,” he declared without shame. “My mate deserves better than store–bought flowers.”
His honesty was so endearing that I found myself laughing along. His childlike exuberance was infectious, filling me with joy I hadn’t felt in years
Dominic held me in his arms, both of us looking at the flower–covered ground stretching out before us. The scene was like something from a fairy tale.

“I thought your proposal was perfect,” I assured him, reaching up to touch his face. It was honest and real and completely you.”
“You’re just saying that to make me feel better,” he protested, though his smile suggested he appreciated my
words.
“I’m not,” I insisted. “Grand gestures don’t matter as much as the person making them.”
Dominic’s expression became more serious as he shared something deeper. “My parents had a grand territorial marking ceremony that every pack envied.”
His voice carried a hint of old pain. “There were long lines of wolves throughout the Northern Territory presenting tribute. The scale was unmatched in over a decade.”
I listened intently, sensing this was important to him.
“However, after that grand ceremony, they barely saw each other,” he continued, his jaw tightening. Their interactions were countable on one hand. They became practically strangers.”
The revelation explained so much about his distant relationship with his parents. No wonder he craved genuine connection over empty ceremony.
“From my earliest memories, I decided that if I ever found my true mate, I would keep it simple,” he declared firmly. “I’d invite only close pack members and family, and do whatever made me happy.”
I agreed completely, embracing his waist and pressing closer to his warmth. “I also don’t want an overly elaborate marking ceremony.”
My wolf whimpered softly at the memory of my previous bonding with Alexander that ended in pain. That grand ceremony had been beautiful on the surface but hollow underneath.
Dominic was stunned by my willingness, his silver–gray eyes widening with surprise. “You truly don’t want the kind of ceremonious pack bonding other she–wolves desire?”
He searched my face intently. “With family and pack gathered to witness our happiness?”
“No,” I replied firmly, remembering my own previous mate bond ceremony that ended in heartbreak. “Simple and meaningful is better than elaborate and empty.”
Contrarily, Dominic confessed with a slight frown, “I wanted all pack territories to know I had claimed Aria as my mate and receive everyone’s blessings.”
His Alpha pride was showing through, wanting to publicly declare his claim on me.
I laughed at his contradiction, finding his honesty endearing. “You’re worried about potential curses from rival packs?”

When he looked into my eyes with absolute sincerity, his next words took my breath away. “Luna Blackwood,
welcome to our den.”
I realized with shock that he had acquired this entire estate as our new territory. The implications were
staggering.
“This is ours?” I whispered, hardly daring to believe it.
“I bought it last moon cycle,” he confirmed, his chest puffing with pride. “I wanted us to have a place that was completely ours.”
Before I could fully process this revelation, my mobile phone rang loudly. The caller ID showed Olivia’s name. “I should answer this,” I said reluctantly, not wanting to break the magical moment.
“Aria!” Olivia’s excited voice practically shouted through the receiver. “Alpha Blackwood just officially announced his true mate on the territorial networks!”
Her words came out in a rush of excitement. “He actually completed a mate bond with his destined she–wolf! There was a moment of silence as the implications sank in. Then Olivia’s voice returned, filled with dawning
realization.
“Wait… you’re Dominic’s true mate, aren’t you?” she asked, her voice rising with excitement. “You’re the one who bonded with him!”
“Yes,” I confirmed, unable to keep the smile from my voice.
Olivia howled with excitement about this surprise flash bonding, the sound so loud I had to hold the phone away from my ear.

I started to give our address but didn’t know it, so I turned to ask Dominic for help.
However, he teasingly corrected my form of address before I could speak. “Call me ‘mate‘ instead of the old ‘Dominic,” he requested with a playful grin.
“Mate,” I repeated, testing the intimate address on my tongue. The words felt right, claiming him as completely as he had claimed me.
