The next moment, Shana snapped back to reality and shoved him away with all her might.
Tm divorcing you, and it’s not because of that!
Henry’s handsome face instantly darkened. “Oh? If it’s not about money, then what is it?”

Shana’s eyelashes trembled fiercely. The most regretful thing she had done in the past three years was listening to Cheryl’s advice when she couldn’t get him to notice her, despite her best efforts.
Cheryl had confidently told her that being gentle and v tuous wouldn’t win him over, so she should take a different approach.
Desperate, Shana followed the advice, spending his money recklessly and constantly asking Henry for things, believing that man remembers where his money goes.
She bougfu only the most expensive items, relentlessly pestered him for more, and even got his supplementary card.
However, for someone as wealthy as him, the money she spent was insignificant. He earned it back faster than she could spend it. In the end, she not only failed to capture his attention but also gained a reputation for being materialistic.
He usually wouldn’t mention it, but during arguments, he would use her spending against her, accusing her of being greedy and insatiable.
After their marriage, Brian and his wife, Gillian Harmon, hinted that she should subtly encourage Henry to support her family’s business, but she always refused, claiming she didn’t understand business and never asked him for anything.
She was his wife and didn’t feel guilty about spending his money, but when it came to Floyd Group’s interests, she had her pride.
Yet. Henry still pinned all these accusations on her.
Shana’s lips paled, and she opened her mouth as if to explain something but then let out a self–mocking laugh
“Nothing more to say?” Henry sneered as if he had expected this all along and let out a cold snort.
He released her, slowly adjusting his cuffs, his tone returning to that of a condescending superior, “Fine. I’ll agree to the investment. But tonight, you’re coming home with me. From now on, there will be no more nightclubs or ridiculous outfits. Do you even remember that you’re Mrs. Floyd?”
Earlier, when Jarry showed Henry those increasingly outrageous photos of Shana, Henry’s anger had
flared.
“Grandpa’s 70th birthday is coming up. Do you want him to be ridiculed at his own party, driven to the grave by your actions?”
Mr. Floyd. Shana met his dark eyes, her voice calm.

“Whether or not you and my uncle choose to work together is your business. I don’t understand your business dealings, and I won’t get involved.”
She took out her wallet, pulled out the supplementary card, and handed it directly to him. “Take this back. Everything you’ve bought for me over the years is in the Floyd residence; I didn’t take a single thing with
me
Henry’s gaze fell on the card, his expression growing colder.
His voice turned harsh as he spoke, “What are you saying?”
“Isn’t it obvious? I don’t want any of this I just want a divorce!”
As if that wasn’t clear enough, she added. “You say I’m greedy and insatiable? You’re right. After the divorce. I’ll buy everything new! I don’t want any of the old stuff!”
Including you, the obsolete man in my life!
Henry’s temper flared up again. He snapped, “Shana, have I been too lenient with you lately?”
Shana still smiled, her tone dripping with sarcasm. “Mr. Floyd, didn’t you pass elementary language class? Am 1even worthy of you using the word ‘lenient?”
In his eyes, no matter what she did, she was never worthy.
Only the favored could afford to be fearless.
She was the one who was despised.

Henry’s dark eyes blazed with fury as he nearly ground out his teeth. “Is all this fuss really just because y want a child?”
He thought back, realizing her strange behavior started that night.
Shana was silent for a moment before she retorted, “Oh? Have you changed your mind? Am I now suddenly worthy of having your child?”
As expected…
His eyes filled with frustration as he snapped back without thinking, “Don’t even think about it!
“My patience is wearing thin. This is the last time I’ll say it. I’ll give you the investment, but you need to take back what you said and apologize to me. Let’s put this whole thing behind us!”
His tone made it clear–he was offering her a way out, and she’d better take it.
In the past, Shana wouldn’t have needed his offer. Even without one, she would have backed down, no matter how much it hurt.
But now, Shana’s eyes curved into a smile. “Looks like should be grateful for Mr. Floyd’s generosity.”
She was a captivating beauty, a delicate blend of innocence and allure. When she smiled, a mischievous,

Seeing her like this, his icy demeanor thawed slightly. “Henry, go ahead and keep dreaming. I’ll never apoloj of your fortune, too!”
