Sebastian gracefully extended his hand, and Caitlin placed her hand in his. Together, they stepped onto the dance floor for their first dance.
Tonight, they were the center of attention, their every move under the spotlight. Every eye was on them.
Men envied Sebastian for winning over sich a beautiful woman, while women admired Caitlin for capturing Sebastian’s heart.
Their dance was flawless, their rhythms perfectly synchronized. Every glance they exchanged was filled with affection.
Madison, standing at the edge of the dance floor, couldn’t help but watch Caitlin. Her heart was in turmoil, torn between the desire to apologize and the reluctance to let go of her pride.
But she still couldn’t bring herself to cross that line.

After the first dance ended, Caitlin tried to leave the floor, but Sebastian pulled her back, eager to dance another song with her.
As other couples began to find their partners and enter the dance floor, several handsome men were approached by ladies inviting them to dance. Afew ladies even asked Benjamin, but he refused.
Holding a champagne glass, his gaze drifted across the room and landed on Wendy. Wendy was watching Caitlin and Sebastian dance, her eyes filled with envy.
Nobody had asked her to dance, but she wasn’t bothered by it; she hadn’t planned to dance anyway.
Benjamin, having finished his drink, set the glass down and walked toward Wendy. When Wendy saw him approaching, she quickly hurried
out of the hotel to avoid him.
She thought she could avoid him this way, but unexpectedly. Benjamin followed her outside.
By the pool, Benjamin called out, “Wendy, stop right there!”
Wendy froze, turning around with a blank expression. “Benjamin, what’s going on?”
“I’m not speaking as a friend right now, but as your superior. Do you understand?” Benjamin said in a serious tone.
Wendy shook her head, confused. “Superior?”
“Didn’t you know? The company you work for has been acquired by the Jones Group. I am now your boss”
Wendy was shocked. She had heard rumors about the company being acquired, but she didn’t expect it to be Benjamin. He had become her direct superior?
“I see. Then I’ll quit tomorrow!” Wendy responded, her mind racing.
Since the company was now his, she figured quitting would be the best option,
After saying that, Wendy tried to walk past him, but Benjamin grabbed her wrist.
He was frustrated. “What’s your attitude? I tell you the company’s been acquired, and you want to quit?”

Wendy used her strength to break free, but in doing so, she lost her balance, and her high heels stumbled, causing her to fall backward

As she was about to fall into the pool, Benjamin reacted quickly and caught her by the waist.
With ease, he managed to hold her up, but as they locked eyes, gravity took its toll.
Wendy was heavier than expected, and after a brief moment, they both fell into the pool together with a splash.
“Splash!”
The once calm pool erupted as they both sank into the water.
Struggling to the surface, Wendy began to thrash around, and Benjamin pulled her back to the edge.
Wendy coughed up water, her nose stinging from the salty liquid.
Benjamin wiped his face and asked,
“Cough…I’m fine…” she gasped.
“Are you okay?”
“This is all your fault! You made me fall in. Do you know how long it took to perfect this look?” Benjamin complained.
Wendy knew he spent a lot of time and money on his appearance, and she felt guilty. But then she thought, it wasn’t her fault!
“if you hadn’t pulled me, I wouldn’t have fallen in! You deserved it!”
Benjamin glared at her, now even more frustrated. “You… you ungrateful woman! I saved you, and if it weren’t for me, you’d be at the bottom of the pool!”
Calling her a cannonball? Wendy nearly exploded with anger. I didn’t ask you to save me! I’ll have no part in this! I always have bad luck
when I’m around you!”
She tried to climb out of the pool, but Benjamin grabbed her again.
This time, his grip slipped, and he accidentally touched something he shouldn’t h

Wendy was startled, her face flushing bright red as she quickly kicked him away.
Benjamin was pushed away, moving a bit in the water. He looked down at his hand, confused. What had he just touched?
Was it a sponge? It was so soft!
Wendy quickly scrambled up the side of the pool and fled, her face still burning with embarrassment.
Benjamin stood in the water, stunned for a moment, before finally climbing out.

Back at the event, Callin and Sebastian had finished their second dance and were heading off the stage together.
One of Sebastian’s staff approached Cantin and Informed her that Wendy had gotten into some trouble and needed her assistance.

After Informing Sebastian, Caitlin left and went outside the hotel to find Wendy, drenched and looking a little embarrassed.
“What happened, Wendy?”
“I accidentally fell into the water”
“Let’s go, you need to change into some dry clothes.”
Caitlin took Wendy with her to the hotel room to get her sorted out.
With all the activities finished, the handover ceremony officially came to an end. Felix and Madison came to say their goodbyes.

“Earlier, the kids were playing hide and seek outside. But then we realized Arthur is missing, and we couldn’t find him anywhere in the garden.”
Hearing this, Felix and Madison exchanged a concerned glance.
Sebastian’s face tightened with worry. “Are you sure you’ve searched everywhere? Could he be hiding somewhere?”
Felix replied, “Mr. Vanderbilt, please help us search, We need to find him.”
Everyone headed into the garden, where there was a children’s play area. Several bodyguards were
already looking for the child.
The other kids had already been picked up by their parents, but the Vanderbilt children and a few others were still left.
Felix’s son, Kyle, had been playing with the other kids, but when they arrived at the scene, neither Felix nor Madison could find him.
“Kyle is missing too?”
Madison’s heart dropped in panic.
