In the evening, a black Maybach drove through the open gates of Carnegie Villa. The villa was well decorated with festive ornaments, as if hosting a celebration.
Ophelia got out of the car and hadn’t even reached the door when a blur of purple dashed towards her.
“Sis,” Rex, who recently landed an endorsement, had dyed his hair purple. He rushed to her like an excited husky with his hands up, practically wagging his “tail”
