Samson was telling them the truth.
All along, the government had been keeping the UN2 developer’s identity a secret. Even Stanley had never shared that information with him.
The U.N2 was introduced to the public five years ago. Samsin was deeply impressed after learning about it.
With Stanley holding that kind of position in the Department of Defense, Samson naturally developed an interest in anything related to military tech.
If he were to liken it to a romance, the U.Na was much like his first love–distant now, but never truly gone from his mind.
The U.N2 would definitely fall under the first–tier category of reconnaissance and strike drones.
However, it was just confirmed recently that Chad was not the U.N2 developer.
Chad had an enigmatic look on his face. He looked at Ariel and raised his brows. “You have pretty good taste, Mr. Pryce. Unfortunately, that person isn’t me.”
Then, he walked over to Ariel’s side and grinned mischievously. “Look! A cute, good–looking fan of the UN developer. What he just said was really touching.”
Ariel could tell that he was teasing her. She simply ignored Chad.
Samson was not someone who could not take some harmless jokes. He had learned for quite some time that Chad was not the U.N2 developer. Samson got to his feet.
“As for the collaboration, I do hope Faye Tech and Yeager Group will consider each other as their first option if there’s ever a chance for us to partner up. I’m just trying my best to convey my interest. The decision is still up to the Faye Tech team.”
Samson was sincere and not overly assertive.
The fact that they were part of Yeager Group was enough for the Faye Technologies team to put them at the top of the list to consider for the collaboration.
Inwardly, Ariel began weighing the pros and cons of collaborating with Yeager Group.
Samson knew he had fulfilled the purpose of his visit for the day, as he had already said everything he needed to say. He got up. “I shouldn’t take up more of your time, then. You can take your time to consider our proposal first, Mr. Hockney and Ms. Walker.”
Samson subconsciously scanned his surroundings since it was his first time visiting Faye Technologies‘ office. Eventually, he directed his gaze out of the window at the opposite building.
He stared at the building for a brief moment, and Chad happened to notice it. “What’s the matter?”
Samson snapped out of his reverie and pointed at the opposite building. He didn’t say who it was
“I thought I just saw a really familiar art gallery. Recently, someone held an art exhibition there and invited me to the event. I didn’t attend the event since I barely know them.”
Samson had always been like that. For those whom he had no interest in or was not close to, Samson found it a waste of time to interact with those people.
He couldn’t understand why the organizer had sent him an invite either.

Upon hearing those words, Ariel looked at Samson once more.
Samson had also been invited by Nancy to the art exhibition Yet, he didn’t go?

Chad’s expression changed drastically. He couldn’t help it as his eyes crinkled. His voice carried more warmth and
a note of approval. Chad went up to Samson and patted his shoulder.
“You have a great personality, Mr. Pryce. You don’t do something just because most people are doing it. No wonder you’ve chosen to approach us for a collaboration!”
As long as they were someone who chose not to side with Nancy, Chad would automatically consider those people to be kind people with extremely good taste. At the moment, Samson was already one of those kind people to him.
Furthermore, Chad even saw Samson off at their building’s entrance. He had never done this for anyone else.
Ariel found it rather amusing.
Chad was in a cheerful mood. He asked upon returning to the conference room, “How does it feel to have a fan who works for Yeager Group?”
Ariel put the cap back on her pen. “Even so, Veyo Solutions might approach Yeager Group if they’re thinking of doing a project similar to ours. It’s too soon for us to try to draw any conclusions now.”
Chad agreed with Ariel’s opinion, especially since the Veyo Solutions team would probably be able to meet and talk to Yeager Group’s higher–ups with Jayson’s help.
Ariel would definitely want to work with a major enterprise like Yeager Group. They could achieve extremely good results by combining and further improving the cutting–edge technologies of the two companies.
However, everything would only be set in stone on the day they finalized and signed the agreement to begin the project preparations.
One simply would not be able to prove their sincerity by making big promises.
Moreover, Ariel found it quite surprising that a large enterprise with a strong, mature structure like Yeager Group had sent one of its representatives to approach them.
The business world was very much like a real battlefield. Regardless of how sincere Samson might have appeared earlier, Ariel would still have to consider a few more options just to be safe.
She still found it a bit odd how Samson was unusually warm and friendly to them. Ariel felt that she would need to give the matter some serious thought.
Their projects were assigned to different teams, which would oversee and execute the subsequent plans accordingly.
As Faye Tech’s lead engineer, Ariel would have to work a lot more than everyone else.
With Leonard’s operation gradually approaching, Ariel tried her best not to make her schedule too tight. She would make time to visit Leonard at the hospital whenever she could.
Perhaps Liam’s treatment was quite effective; Leonard’s condition had improved considerably these days.
