Jayson wasn’t in any hurry. He lowered his gaze and studied Ariel’s expression. “You can take your time to consider my suggestion.”
He didn’t try too hard to persuade Ariel either.
After leaving the documents on the table, Jayson tapped his finger lightly on the tabletop. He gazed at Ariel with those dark eyes. “You can contact me anytime.”
He did not linger around, waiting for Ariel’s reply. Instead, Jayson turned around and left the room.
Ariel sat in the chair with a pensive look on her face. Then, she took the documents and headed downstairs.
Perhaps it was because Jayson had shown up that Frederick didn’t stay around for too long, as he took off shortly afterward.
Chad noticed the grim look on Ariel’s face. When they reached the restaurant and met up with Janice, neither he nor Ariel brought up how Frederick had stopped by their office and blamed them for what happened to Nancy.
They were worried the quick–tempered Janice might want to track Frederick down right away and beat him up for what he did.
Ariel told them about Jayson’s offer and showed them the documents Jayson had given her.
They were documents about the transfer of Nexura Solutions‘ equity and various important information regarding the company. Jayson had prepared everything accordingly. He had even signed the documents.
Nexura Solutions was one of the tech companies Jayson had invested in. Jayson’s side would handle the procedures, including transferring the assets and separating Nexura Solutions from Bluum Corp.
Ariel would gain ownership of pretty much everything, from the company’s equipment to the trademark.
Chad went through the documents. Jayson’s offer just seemed too good to be true. Both Chad and Janice were totally bewildered.
“Nexura Solutions? He’s giving it to you?” Janice’s expression shifted from one of shock to one of excitement as she considered the potential earnings from it. “He’s giving you the company just like that? Didn’t we just hit the jackpot with this?”
Nexura Solutions was considered one of the leading drone manufacturers in their country. Moreover, they had adopted the supplier diversity program.
They had also established themselves really well as an original brand manufacturer. It would take years for Faye Technologies to reach its level of growth and development.
Chad was honestly quite surprised. He thought Jayson would resort to more extreme methods when he came to meet Ariel today. After all, he was fully capable of doing something like that.
“What is he really up to this time?” Chad felt so confused.
Jayson had provided all the details on Nexura Solutions‘ financial status in recent years. Any relevant information and materials were also prepared along with those reports.
They hadn’t found any major issues after looking through the documents. Nexura Solutions was still demonstrating a positive, continuous growth.
Ariel wiped her cutlery pensively. She finally said something after a long while. “What do you guys think about it?”

After all, Faye Technologies belonged to Chad and Janice as well. It was only right that Ariel discussed these matters with them.
Chad analyzed the situation objectively. “He’s right about certain things. Bluum Corp’s legal team has hardly lost a single lawsuit. They might be able to get Nancy out of trouble if they were to represent her in court.”
Ariel furrowed her brows.
Before this, she hadn’t taken into consideration that Bluum Corp’s legal team might get involved in the lawsuit.
“Also, if Nancy were sentenced to prison, who would most likely take over and manage Veyo Solutions? It’d be Jayson, right? He’s different from Nancy.
“With him managing the business, I reckon it’ll take less than two years for Veyo Solutions to become known by everyone in our country. By the time Nancy’s released, she’ll get to enjoy the fruit of someone else’s hard work again.”
Just the thought of that was enough to make them feel even more annoyed.
After all, Nancy’s crimes weren’t severe enough that the court would mete out punishments like confiscating her assets and properties or deeming that Nancy should lose the rights to the Veyo Solutions‘ equity that she owned.
Ariel knew that much as well.
Janice gave a low hiss and said, “Who wouldn’t want a flourishing business like Nexura Solutions? Moreover, it’d be such a waste for us to give up on such a great opportunity because of Nancy.
“Jayson is willing to give up Nexura Solutions to help Nancy because he wants to get this over with as soon as possible. We should just seize the opportunity and make the most out of it.”
They shouldn’t lose sight of what mattered more just because they were eager to bring Nancy down.
Nexura Solutions was the real deal.
If Ariel could gain ownership of the business, coupled with Faye Technologies’s skills and manpower, they should be able to achieve greater heights in technological advancement.
In no time, Faye Technologies would progress so much that it would be impossible for Veyo Solutions to catch up with them.
Besides, Jayson was fully capable of making it happen. Even if Faye Technologies insisted on pressing charges on Nancy, Jayson would probably still be able to get her out of prison as soon as possible with the help of Bluum Corp’s legal team and his connections.
Ariel’s side had decided to press charges since they were trying to protect their own rights.
However, they never imagined Jayson would offer Nexura Solutions in exchange for them complying with his request.
“When you two were getting divorced, Jayson had given you some of Nexura Solutions‘ equity. Since you’re an equity holder, the transfer procedures would be much simpler. You’d be skipping a lot of complicated steps since they wouldn’t need to do any additional procedures.” Chad was quite surprised as he realized that.
In a way, this was a total win for Ariel. Furthermore, it would mark a major turning point for Faye Technologies, having overcome the recent crisis and moving forward to achieve greater things.
Ariel hadn’t expected that just because Jayson had given her some of Nexura Solutions‘ equity and made her a shareholder, it would make it easier for her to gain full ownership of the company now.

As for Nancy, the loss and damage she was facing were tremendous.
Her reputation was ruined. Andre had refused to be her supervisor. Furthermore, Ashford University had revoked her admission offer.
Veyo Solutions‘ business would be quite bad for the time being. As the highest leader in the company, the issues that Nancy had to handle following this incident might be even more troublesome than her serving time in prison.
