Ariel figured that Jayson had probably already taken care of matters involving the other shareholders.
The entire process went smoothly. The only thing was that Jayson had given Ariel sole ownership and control over the company. Nexura Solutions was also separated from Bum Corp.
Ariel could decide whether she wanted to keep or replace the directors or certain employees Jayson had personally appointed. They also discussed some relevant procedures.
Jayson retained 10% of Nexura Solutions‘ equity. However, he entrusted his voting rights to Ariel. Jayson would not participate in any of the company’s decision–making processes. Instead, he would just receive the corresponding dividends.
Jayson had given up all the decision–making power and control over the company.
By the time the meeting was over, Ariel was feeling a bit dazed. It was hard to believe how smoothly everything
went.
When she stood up and got to the door, Jayson had walked over to that area as well.
He lowered his gaze and looked at Ariel. “You can keep any existing staff who you think can help you with Nexura Solutions‘ operations. I suppose you don’t need my reminder regarding other things.”
Ariel understood what he was trying to say. Without a word, she turned around and headed out.
Meanwhile, Nancy and Matt were still waiting outside the conference room.
Some of the people who attended the meeting were acquainted with Nancy. Nancy greeted those people as they walked past her.
One of those people noticed she was staring in the direction of the conference room. He mused, “Something big happened today.”
Matt asked curiously, “What do you mean by that, sir?”
At that very moment, Ariel and Jayson came out of the conference room.
Nancy’s eyes hardened with a cold light as she watched them together.
The man who was speaking to them turned his eyes to Ariel and explained to Matt and Nancy, “Starting today, Ms. Walker is the owner of Nexura Solutions.”
Matt was momentarily stunned while Nancy’s expression turned grim.
Ariel had become the owner of Nexura Solutions?
Ariel heard the man saying that as she was getting closer. She glanced at him and gave a slight nod. Without sparing others a single glance, Ariel walked away.
She did not even bother saying anything to Jayson before leaving.
Jayson stared at her receding figure for a moment before calmly averting his gaze.
“Jayson?” Nancy had no interest in Ariel’s affairs. However, the fact that Ariel had become the owner of Nexura Solutions was so absurd that Nancy felt her heart miss a beat.
She pursed her lips. “What on earth is going on?”
Even Matt was wondering if he had heard it wrong.

With a look of bewilderment on his face, he asked, “What does she have to do with Nexura Solutions?”
Jayson had an impassive look on his face. “You’ve heard it just now.”
Colton explained upon seeing the pair’s reaction, “Mr. Larkin had personally dealt with the issue by giving away Nexura Solutions‘ ownership. It should be able to help resolve Ms. Stanton’s current situation.”
Nancy’s eyes bulged as she stared in the direction Ariel had walked off to earlier.
Ariel had obtained Nexura Solutions‘ ownership!
“You offered them Nexura Solutions in exchange for letting Nancy off?” Matt had a grasp of the situation immediately. Still, he was shocked.
They were talking about Nexura Solutions. Almost everyone knew how valuable the company was as an asset.
Despite feeling extremely agitated at first, Nancy felt her heart was full when she heard Matt’s words. She was so overwhelmed that her eyes grew hot.
Nancy tried to calm herself down as quickly as possible. She could not quite put her current feelings into words.
Nancy was both shocked and moved. Other than the sweet feelings that filled her, she could also sense a subtle hint of displeasure rising within her.
Just like Matt, Nancy was well aware of the position Nexura Solutions had in their industry.
Since Ariel knew how much she mattered to Jayson, Nancy reckoned Ariel had made use of the fact and managed to acquire Nexura Solutions‘ ownership through unscrupulous methods.
“Did it never occur to her that she was making an absurd request? How could she even think of asking for something like that?” Nancy thought.
“Doesn’t that mean Ariel holds a position much higher than Nancy now…” Matt accidentally blurted out.
That was the reality of her situation. Nancy had to accept it, whether she liked it or not.
Nancy let out a deep sigh. She felt slightly relieved now that her biggest crisis was somewhat resolved.
At the same time, she could not believe Jayson had decided to resolve the issue this way. She just found it outright bizarre and unacceptable. Still, Jayson had done it to protect her.
So, Nancy suppressed those feelings. She appeared absolutely touched as she looked up at Jayson. “Jayson, thank you so much. I don’t even know what I can possibly do to thank you.”
Jayson turned his gaze toward her. “What matters is that the issue’s been resolved.”
Matt felt so sorry for Jayson. He had given away a company that could generate around billions of dollars in net profit annually just like that.
Nancy frowned slightly and glanced in the direction where Ariel had headed off to.
Ariel had only gotten Nexura Solutions because of her.
Anyone in their industry would be shocked to hear about this bizarre incident. Nevertheless, Jayson had come to make that decision because of her.
Nancy had realized yet again how much she actually mattered to Jayson.
