Yet, Nexura Solutions‘ ownership had been transferred and given to Ariel.
Ariel had once again destroyed Nancy’s hope!
Ariel’s eyes betrayed nothing as she tapped her finger on the document regarding the termination of the contract. She didn’t answer Nancy’s question.
“I’ll give you two options, Ms. Stanton. The first option is that you sign this contract. The second option is to launch a civil lawsuit against Veyo Solutions for violating patent rights, even though Faye Tech has decided to drop the charges.
“When that happens, you won’t just face situations like being forced to terminate the contracts. What do you think, Ms. Stanton?”
Nancy’s fingers curled into fists. She fixed Ariel’s face with an icy gaze.
She was feeling rather frustrated and exasperated.
Nancy was well aware that Veyo Solutions could not afford to face another lawsuit.
As for Ariel, she was simply taking it out on Nancy through work since things had not worked out with Jayson and she was jealous of Nancy.
Nancy could not be bothered to try and negotiate any further. With a grim look on her face, she stepped forward and signed the document.
Nancy also knew there was nothing she could do to change Ariel’s mind. If she tried to persuade Ariel regardless, it would only give Ariel the chance to mock and ridicule her endlessly.
Ariel did not pay much attention to Nancy. Once Nancy had picked up a pen and signed the documents, Ariel stood up and headed out of the office.
Tom could handle the rest of it.
Truthfully, Ariel was not going to waste time filing a lawsuit against Nancy. Going through the trials would be too time–consuming. It would be a long, arduous battle.
It would be much easier if she could get Nancy to terminate the contracts by reminding Nancy she had violated the terms of their agreement.
Ariel did not want to waste her time or energy on someone like Nancy. There was no way she would want to collaborate with Nancy or Veyo Solutions either.
Ariel came downstairs since she wanted to check how things were in Nexura Solutions‘ factory.
Nancy settled things fairly quickly as well. She arrived on the ground floor shortly after Ariel did.
Before leaving the building, Nancy glanced over her shoulder at Ariel and fixed her with a piercing gaze. “I’ve learned a lot from watching the way you do things, Ms. Walker. I hope you really have what it takes to manage this business and keep it going.”
Ariel looked at her indifferently. “You should be thanking the man you picked up after I had discarded him for helping you avoid a huge crisis instead of mocking and taunting me here.”
Nancy’s expression hardened.
Ariel ignored her and turned around. Just then, she spotted Jayson, who had gotten out of a car parked by the
