I was now back in Goddess heart, and was in a restaurant, waiting for Laura. I had sent her a message through one of my employees, I didn’t want any unnecessary news getting out, but at the same time, I wanted to show her that I wasn’t playing around, and even if I wished to, Ashley wouldn’t let me.
I settled into the plush leather seat and took a deep breath. I was feeling nervous and that was something that barely happened.
The minutes ticked by slowly and I waited for her, my fingers drumming against the table, creating a gentle rhythm, and just when I thought of maybe calling her myself, a familiar figure caught my eye.
