Ariel spotted Gary from afar.
Gary, who usually had a solemn look on his face, smiled broadly the moment he saw Ariel. “Ariel, you’re here. I happened to have some business here today, and I decided to drop by and see how you’re doing.”
Gary still harbored a flicker of hope in him. Perhaps Ariel might change her mind about Zach if the two of them were to interact with each other more.
Nancy happened to overhear what Gary said as she entered the area.
She furrowed her brows and glanced at Gary while looking confused.
Nancy couldn’t understand why someone of Gary’s status was being so friendly and polite to Ariel. He even seemed quite eager to win her favor. Gary’s eyes would light up whenever he saw Ariel.
Nancy had some suspicions. At the same time, she felt rather displeased.
Nancy reckoned others probably think Ariel deserved more respect ever since they found out that she wife.
Yet, she couldn’t understand why someone like Gary would have to do something like that as well.

He couldn’t comment much about what happened since the situation was extremely complicated back then. Still, he gave a slight nod. “Let’s get started now that everyone’s here.”
As they were moving to another spot, Ariel and Noah discussed some of the details for their plan today. They also needed to brief about certain instructions relating to the technical parts.
They had been allowed special access to this small area within the military base. Other areas were strictly off- limits. Even this specific area they were in was being closely monitored as well.
Hence, Ariel reminded her team members to be extra careful when handling their work here today.
Since they were required to provide technical support, they needed to conduct specific tests on the equipment. Ariel spotted several aircraft that were parked in the hangar
She recognized their models. Those were models released three years ago. That was why they were getting a chance to see them up close today.
“Uncle Gary,” a voice called out near the door.
Ariel looked quite surprised as she glanced in the direction of the voice.
Cecilia had put on a flight suit. She strode toward Gary.
Gary said the instant he saw Cecilia, “How did you get in here?”
Cecilia whispered in his ear, “My application was approved. Coincidentally, my dad has work in Area 3 today.”
Gary understood what Cecilia meant by that. She had received approval to be here.

Nancy knitted her brows when she saw Cecilia.

“I think so.”
