Chapter 521
Someone in the crowd murmured, “An artificial meteor shower costs millions per second. Sean must really love Charlotte to spend that kind of money.”
Jenny’s eyes widened in shock. “Millions per second? My God, I wouldn’t even spend game tokens that fast! Sean really is on another level.”
Sophie added, “This is incredible. Thanks to Charlotte, I get to see a meteor shower worth millions per second.”
Nearby, one of Sean’s friends leaned over to another and whispered, “So it’s artificial? Why go to such lengths?”
“It’s his birthday, and he even arranged a meteor shower just for Charlotte. Do you think he’s about to propose?”
Ian raised an eyebrow. “You’re only realizing that now? Didn’t you see he’s in a tux tonight, with a bow tie and everything? He went all out. It’s obvious he’s going to propose. How can you not see that?”
The man snorted. “Please. You’re so close to him, you must have known all along.”
Jenny practically squealed, “Oh my God, Sean’s really going to propose to Charlotte? This is amazing!”
Just then, Sophie tugged on her chiffon sleeve. “Look, the drone show is st ing!”
Beneath the vast, endless night sky, dozens of softly glowing drones glittered like tiny diamonds scattered across the heavens.
They split into two formations. On the left, the drones arranged themselves into the shape of a large diamond ring. On the right, they formed the outline of a slender hand.
Slowly, the ring drifted toward the hand and slipped onto its ring finger.
A moment later, the image shifted.
Glowing words appeared in the sky: Marry me!
The crowd on the ground erupted into cheers.
Jenny clutched Sophie’s arm, shaking it wildly. “It’s real! Sean’s actually proposing! This is so romantic!”
Sophie laughed. “Jenny, you’re going to shake me to death.”
Jenny quickly let go, grinning sheepishly. “Sorry, Iot carried away.”
In contrast to the noisy front garden, the back garden was quiet and still. Only Charlotte and Sean were there.
Charlotte’s heart was pounding in her chest.

She stared up at the glowing words “Marry me” in the night sky, unable to shake her daze.
It wasn’t until Sean’s voice sounded softly at her ear that she finally came back to herself.
“Lottie, will you marry me?”
He was down on one knee, holding a deep blue velvet box. Inside was a uniquely beautiful diamond ring.
Charlotte lowered her gaze to look at him, surprised to see a trace of tension in his expression.
Was he worried she might say no?
Of course she would say yes.
In that moment, Charlotte felt a sudden urge to cry. They had been through so much together, and there were times they had almost lost each other.
Her gaze locked on his, and before she could stop them, tears slipped down her cheeks–tears of joy she couldn’t hold back.
“I will,” she whispered.
Sean let out a quiet breath of relief and slipped the ring onto her ring finger.
Suddenly, the garden lights flared on, illuminating the entire space. A burst overhead, painting the night with brilliant colors.

Guests from the front garden came rushing over, their excitement overflowing as if they were the ones being proposed to.
Ian grinned and gave Sean a light punch on the shoulder. “Congratulations. I’ll be waiting for the big day.”
Mia laughed. “Lottie, this time skip the engagement and go straight to the wedding.”
Lena smiled warmly. “I second that.”
