Professor Sterling’s brow furrowed; the words “indecent” and “disgraceful” were on the tip of his 

tongue. 

“What happened to you?” Damon was clearly dressed, yet somehow more alluring than if he were naked.Professor Sterling’s eyebrows twitched. 

“Caught in the rain,” Damon replied lightly, pushing his wet hair back.From Evelyn’s perspective, his profile was perfectly sculpted; his high nose bridge was captivating, and his dimple was 

articularly striking. 

Professor Sterling, supported by Damon, instinctively shielded his eyes. He needed sunglasses; his son was radiating too much… charisma. 

“Dad, let me help you to bed. Don’t push yourself.” 

“Push myself? You’re the one pushing yourself! You look like a ridiculously attractive peacock!”

“Uh… Professor Sterling tried to sit up but was pushed back down by Damon, resuming his coughing fit, exacerbated by Damon’s back 

pats. 

“Professor Grandpa! Let me pat your

Damon pointed to the pillow.“Pat here.” 

Lily diligently patted the pillow, sending feathers flying; Professor Sterling felt like he was going to faint! 

He’d never agreed to forgive Evelyn! Damon was making it up! Oh well, Evelyn had been a housewife for seven years; solving that problem was impressive. None of his students could solve all the problems on the test. 

He closed his eyes. Lily cried out, “Grandpa fell asleep!” 

“Let me check his pulse, Damon leaned down, but Professor Sterling swatted his hand away. 

Gratitude filled Evelyn’s face.“I’ll do the test!“She was grateful for another chance.She often felt guilty thinking about him. Besides her adoptive parents, she felt she’d wronged him the most. She bowed. “Professor, please rest.”
