Chapter 8
Despite trembling with fear, Sonia gathered her courage and said. “This is Dr. Dawson’s decision. He said if anything goes wrong, he would take responsibility.”
“What’s his stake in all this? Your lives?” Marty shot back.
Sonia paled in fear, unable to speak another word.
“Mr. Christopher Sanchez, please let our experts go in and save Mr. Matthew Sanchez first. I’ll deal with the lead surgeon. and her assistant Marty declared icily, scanning the room with a steely glare. “None of you are getting out of here.”
They must grasp the aftermath of their reckless moves! How dare they let a high schooler operate on Mr. Matthew Sanchez Marty fumed.
Just then, the experts behind Christopher burst out in amazement.
“She managed to separate all the adhesions.”
“She didn’t damage a single blood vessel, with the heart tissue intact. Oh my, she was using her left hand!”
“How did she do it?”
“She handled such a complex adhesion separation so neatly and quickly.”
Yvonne made the daunting surgery look effortless, and after that, she raised her striking eyes, emitting a refreshing and ethereal aur.
“Dr. Johnson, who is she? Is she a new doctor here? Can I talk with her later?” one of the foreign heart experts brought by Christopher asked in broken Clusian.
A voice echoed, “We arrived late and missed how she exposed the chest cavity. The way she flawlessly handled those adhesions–her medical skills surpass mine.”
Another chimed in, I have a question to ask her as well.”
Marty, along with everyone present, was stunned. They couldn’t believe that a teenage girl had managed such clean adhesion separations.
“Her skill level is astonishing.”
“Even experienced experts cannot make it in such a short time.
“Could she appear young but have decades of experience as a doctor inside her?”
The rest nodded in agreement–they had no other plausible explanation.
Christopher remained composed, only a hint of curiosity flashing in his eyes.
Sonia couldn’t hold back her sarcasm. “Even if she didn’t hurt the blood vessels and heart tissue, it doesn’t mean everything’s smooth sailing. Mr. Matthew Sanchez has undergone multiple surgeries before. The area around the mitral valve is worn out, making it tricky for the fake valve to keep up.” This was one of the reasons they hesitated to proceed with the surgery.
“Sonia Mark rebuked her in a low voice, annoyed.
Sonia wore a look of pure justice. “I just want everyone to know that Mr. Matthew Sanchez is suffering from severe endocarditis. The tissue is severely swollen, and suturing the prishetic valve is extremely challenging. If her sutures go awry, Mr. Matthew Sanchez’s heart function will be hard to get better, and there’s a high risk of severe complications.

Chapter 8
Knowing Sonia was just stirring up trouble, Mark told Christopher hurriedly, “This young lady has exceptional medical skills. I believe she can handle the situation. Plus, her assistant is Dr. Dawson, who comes from a family of medical experts. and is incredibly talented. His grandfather is Charles, a big name in the medical world.”
‘Charles? So, the assistant must be Charles‘ only grandson, Yaron Christopher thought with a poker face. He had invited Charles today, but he happened to be stuck in traffic and hadn’t arrived yet.
With no reply from Christopher, Mark grew anxious, unsure of his thoughts..
Yvonne then started suturing, her exceptional suturing skills making all the other doctors present feel inadequate. After the surgery, everyone was truly astounded–Manhew had survived!
Yvonne, you’re unbelievable, Yaron praiseil. He had witnessed the entire process and realized that Yvonne was even more formidable than he had imagined. He came prepared to step in if needed, but now it seemed utterly unnecessary. Her medical skills surpassed his by far, leaving him with no reason to worry.
“Wheel him out.” Yvonne cleaned up and left the operating room. Many doctors waiting outside applauded her, praising her
skills.
Sonia clenched her fists, her nails digging into her palms. She never expected Yvonne to have some real skills.
As Matthew’s emergency bed was wheeled out, many doctors hurried forward to confirm–he was still breathing and appeared fairly stable.
“Alright, guys, time to break it up. The patient needs some rest now, Yaron said, realizing Yvonne must be wiped out. They’d been in surgery for two hours straight, and it was now two in the afternoon. He wondered if she was hungry.
With all the doctors there for the show gone, only Christopher, his team of heart specialists, Mark, and a few others lingered.
in the room.
Yaron turned to Yvonne. Il take Mr. Matthew Sanchez back to his ward first. I’ll be back in a bit
Yvonne nodded, removed her face mask, revealing a delicate face. Her nonchalant yet captivating demeanor exuded a mesmerizing charm.
*Who is the family here?” Yvonne looked up, ready to discuss a few matters,
Christopher came forward, towering at six feet three inches over the five–foot–seven Yvonne, a somewhat harmonious sight.
Yvonne looked at Christopher. His features looked like they were carved with extreme precision, each detail almost perfect. His eyes were like the deep sea–captivating and clear.
“Mr. Christopher Sanchez, here’s the deal. Mr. Matthew Sanchez is in critical condition. I assured this young lady that if she saves his life, the reward won’t be an issue, Mark interjected, eager to secure a reward for Yvonne.
Christopher gazed at Yvonne, his eyes showing a hint of emotion, then he glanced at Marty.
Marty swiftly handed a blank check to Yvonne. “Appreciate your efforts. This is Mr. Christopher Sanchez’s reward, and the amount is your call”
Surprised, Yvonne raised her eyebrows. Who’s this Mr. Christopher Sanchez? Quite generous.
One lucky gal with a bright future. The onlookers stared at her amazement or envy. The blank check meant not only a hefty sum of money but also, more importantly, Christopher’s approval, suggesting multiple opportunities ahead for her.
“Much obliged.” Yvonne smiled lightly, pocketing the check in the coat without hesitation. “Mr. Matthew Sanchez will be off the ventilator by tomorrow”
Just then, Sonia let out a cold laugh from the comer,
