The teacher shook his head. “Alice’s answer is correct. That is a question from our final exam.”

Alice laughed. “You’re an idiot. Do you think everyone is as stupid as you? You scored zero on the SAT. What right do you have to worry about me?”
Chloe’s face turned crimson. She felt that everyone was laughing at her.

Alice smirked.“Since you’re so brilliant, why don’t you solve it?”
“Solving this is easy. We learn to code. If you really know this, writing a simple program shouldn’t be hard.”
Alice’s smile deepened.“You want to bet?”
“Yes! If you can write the program, it proves you know the answer. But if you lose, it proves you lied. You must kneel and apologize to the professor and class!”
Max sounded arrogant.
Alice calmly asked, “What if you lose?”
“I won’t lose!”
Max was confident. She’d already learned this subject.
Alice raised her eyebrows.“Are you scared of losing?”
“I’m not scared! Let’s do it!”
“Fine. If you lose, you must kneel and apologize for slandering me!”
Alice kept a high profile.
The students and the professor were skeptical. Alice was challenging a powerful family! She is risking her neck.

Max confidently went to the podium.“Let’s start with the school forum. Write a redirect code!
Max used the professor’s computer and opened the forum.
The top story was the rumors about Alice.
This was intentional, to ruin Alice’s reputation.

The gossip was already spreading.

“I bet it was her first time in a limo.”

Max’s followers all began to laugh at Alice.
Alice’s expression didn’t change.“Spreading rumors is illegal. And a luxury car? I can afford one.”
She had substantial income from streaming.
Other than that, she had a job at the Maple Company and had project bonuses.
Max laughed.“Don’t be ridiculous. You are just a bumpkin. You are bluffing.”
“Alice, do you know how much that limo is? You’ve probably never seen that much money in your life!”
“What a bumpkin! You’re just bluffing!”
Max said as she laughed, “Alice, it’s your turn. If you can’t do it, apologize, and I might let you off the hook.”
“You’re the one who’s going to lose.”
Alice went to the computer. Her fingers were flying across the keyboard.
She quickly wrote a code and implanted it into the post, targeting the keywords in the comments.
She said faintly, “Everyone who participated in spreading rumors will have their phones locked until they post an apology. Or it will be locked forever.”
Her voice was calm.
Max scoffed.“You’re too arrogant. Can your simple code do that!”
“What the hell? My phone turned dark!”
“Mine too! I’m stuck on this post and can only post an apology.”
Max checked her phone in doubt. It was black.
She yelled, “What did you do? Unlock my phone! How dare you?”
Alice smiled.“So you admit you lost the bet, right?”
Max’s face froze.
She realized Alice had actually done it.
The mood in the classroom shifted.
Alice leaned on the podium, looking at Max.“Kneel first, or apologize first?”
Max stepped back.“Why should I kneel and apologize?”

“Like I said, it’s simple. Post an apology, and once it’s approved, your phone will be unlocked”
Alice’s face was cold.
Max refused to apologize.
She turned to the professor.“Professor, this is outrageous! Help everyone delete her program!”
“Alright.”
The professor looked at Alice.“You have talent, but it needs to be used properly.”
Alice smirked. It wasn’t so easy to crack her code.
The professor tried but he failed.
His expression changed as he looked at Alice in surprise. He began to take it seriously.
He tried again but failed again.
Max was getting anxious.“Professor, why aren’t our phones unlocked?”
The professor was astonished.“I can’t unlock them either!”
“What? You can’t unlock them? Impossible!”
Max couldn’t believe it.
How could Alice be so skilled?
The professor adjusted his glasses. He underestimated Alice.
He knew she was talented, but he didn’t expect her to be so talented.
Chloe’s phone was locked too. It had many important information in it, but she refused to apologize.
She stood up and accused Alice, “Do you know this is illegal?”
Alice twirled a piece of chalk, smiling faintly.“Slandering me is also illegal.”

Police officers entered the classroom.
Max’s eyes lit up.“You’re here at the right time. Alice is here. Arrest her!”
