Samantha clenched her fists and thought, ‘Why is Christopher following us? Is it because of Yvonne?‘
Thinking of this, she gritted her teeth; and her hatred for Yvonne grew.
“Should I stop the car?” Luke asked hesitantly.
Cherry, however, was delighted and said, “Christopher must be here for Yvonne. Why don’t you get out of the car, Yvonne? We’re going somewhere else and we’re not on your way.”
Yvonne was speechless.
“Exactly. Just ask Christopher to take you home.” Yosef told Luke to pull over and said to Yvonne with a smile, “Go. Don’t keep Christopher waiting.”
Cherry directly opened the car door and pushed Yvonne out.
Yvonne was stunned, thinking, ‘Did my parents just push me out of a car?‘
“Wait, Mr. Sanchez. Ms. Lynch seemed to be pushed out of the car.” Marty widened his eyes in disbelief.
Christopher smiled, pushed open the car door, and strode to Yvonne. Then he held her in his arms and watched the green luxury car leave with a meaningful smile. “What considerate parents!”
Yvonne raised her eyebrows in displeasure. “Don’t act like you’re close to them!”
If it weren’t for him, she wouldn’t have been kicked out of the car.
“You’re my girl. What’s wrong with me being close to them?” Christopher looked down at her with a smile and said, “Aren’t we family?”

“I told you that you could go home first.” After being pulled into the car, Yvonne sighed and said, “Don’t tell me you haven’t had dinner yet.”
Marty quickly explained, “Mr. Sanchez waited for you outside for a long time and didn’t eat anything.”
Yvonne was a little speechless. “Go get something to eat. Stop the car. I’m going home.”
Marty didn’t know whether he said anything wrong.
“Stay with me.” Christopher grabbed her hand, reluctant to let her go. “You haven’t spent time with me in a while. I want you to make it up to me now.”
Yvonne thought, ‘Does that make any sense?‘
Just then, Yvonne’s phone rang. She picked it up and found that it was a call from Zachary.
Without hesitation, Yvonne blocked the number. A few seconds later, Zachary messaged her on WhatsApp. [Why did you block me, Yvonne? Come on, I have something important to tell you!]
Yvonne sneered and thought, ‘Weren’t you making a big effort to distance yourself from me when you were trying to send me back to the countryside a few days ago? Now you remember that you’re my dad, huh?‘
Since she didn’t reply, Zachary sent several more WhatsApp messages to her.
Does the car you got into tonight belong to your family? I heard that it’s worth 100 million dollars.]
[What do your parents do for a living? How come they are able to afford servants and drivers?]
[Is what the servant said tonight true? Did your parents really prepare us with so many gifts? Why didn’t you tell us?]

At the end, Zachary added hypocritically: [I missed you. I want to see you in person.]
Yvonne sneered and blocked Zachary’s WhatsApp number. Then she put her phone away as if nothing happened.
“Is someone harassing you?” Christopher took her soft hand and said, “Do you want me to take care of it?”
“No need,” Yvonne said calmly. She never took the White family seriously.
“You can come to me anytime if you need me.” Christopher stared at her and said, “You can leave anything you don’t want to deal with or are too lazy to deal with to me.”
“Don’t you need to work?” asked she.
“I do, but I always have time for you.” Christopher said in an affectionate tone, “Don’t take it all on yourself.”
Yvonne didn’t say anything.
