Chapter 65

Athena’s POV

4.5 Months Later…….

It’s crazy to think of how one’s life can change so drastically over the course of 4 and a half months, but they have. Ever since my uncles both came to Mystic Shadow Pack, things have only

continued to become crazy.

First and foremost, my uncles have become a more permanent staple to my life. Not only do they either call me or come visit me when not attending Alpha–duties, as we had yet to merge the packs into one, they each make sure I’m doing well and have everything that I need for when we

do.

For when we had first discussed all this, Ares, Eros along with myself had been worried that each of our packs would be opposed to the merge but shockingly they each welcomed it, including Alpha Alarick who thought that with merging each pack it would allow those who had yet to find their mate a chance to find one within one of the other packs.

Then after being told about the merge, I had been told more about my family history between my uncles and my father and how being the daughter of an Alpha as well as a Lycan Princess could bring unwavering danger to me as life went on, something in which didn’t sit well with my mates as they only growled softly causing tension.

Confused as to why, my uncles didn’t know how to take their reactions which then led me to explain that I was currently pregnant with my mate’s child, which would have been a simple explanation if only my mates hadn’t asked me about the doctor visit. Caught now between a rock and a hard place, I’m left with no other choice but to explain even further. “Well… You see… I’m not only pregnant, but I’m pregnant with triplets.”

No sooner than when those words left my mouth did Alarick and Gwen become silent along with Ares and Eros. Alex and Rick both just smiled from ear to ear as if it didn’t phase them one little bit as they had been a part of three.

“Congratulations” smiles Rick as he and Alex each move to hug me.

“Indeed, Congratulations” smiles Thorin as he bows his head to me as well.

“T–Thank you” I all but squeak out only to be eloped by mates as they hug me gently.

“Triplets? That’s wonderful” exclaims Eros happily who couldn’t believe they were having more

than one child now.

Chapter 65

“Indeed, that’s wonderful news my child” smiles Luna Gwen once she got over the initial shock as did Alarick before both moving to hug me as well. Ares moving to hug me once his brother and parents were finished.

A month later, after the surprise visits of my uncles, Uncle Alex eventually told me of the upcoming trial for those who abused me within the Moon Walker pack. That my cousin Brian, along with Diana, Shane, David as well as Beta Collin and his mate would each stand trial individually and each receive a proper sentence. The Alpha and his family omitted from the trial as they had no part in the torcher or the abuse.

Luckily for me, being a month into my pregnancy helped with me not having to be present at the trials as I was already beginning to show. And by showing I meant having a tiny obnoxious baby bump which left me grateful as I couldn’t bring myself to be present. Trusting in my uncle to give them each a fair trial before sentencing them each.

‘What sort of punishment do you think they’ll get? Death? Banishment? Demoted lower than their normal ranks? Become slaves like we were?‘ asks Artemis as she tries to think of what their punishments would be.

‘Not entirely sure, but whatever it is I just hope my uncle does what’s right and it moves to teach them each a valuable lesson‘ I admit to her trying not to think of them possibly being dead.

Shaking those thoughts away, I move to focus at the task at hand, which was currently me standing in front of a mirror as an Omega finishes up last minute touches to my Luna Ceremony dress, as Alpha Alarick had decided to move ahead with the shifting of titles and Luna Gwen had been just as eager to hand over the reins of Luna to me as she helped me diligently in making sure I knew exactly how to help the pack as well as Uncle Rick and Uncle Alex when it came to their packs for Uncle Rick’s pack was more than just wolves, it also harbored other creatures such as Fae, Witches, and Dragons who also happened to be hybrids which meant they could be part wolf and fae or part witch and dragon, the links unlimited to just the normal wolf.

“You look absolutely beautiful my Luna” chimes an Omega as she and another continue to help me with my dress as tomorrow was the day of both mine and the twins ceremonies and everything had to be perfect.

“Thank you” I smile, a slight blush rising as I go back to looking at my reflection in the mirror. My gown is a beautiful silk satin royal blue mermaid style gown which hugged me from the top down just stopping above the knees before flaring out at the bottom.

‘You really do look like a Luna Princess‘ purrs Artemis.

“Thank you Artemis… I just hope everyone else will like my dress too‘ I say to her my hands coming to rest along my baby bump as the dress hugged it gently around the middle.

Chapter 65

Smiling to myself, I think back to when I had my second doctor visit.

“Congratulations my Luna. It looks like you’re having one girl and two boys” smiles the doctor, as we finish with my appointment.

“That’s wonderful news Athena, the twins will be so happy once they hear of this” chimes Maya,

causing me to turn to her surprise.

“NO! They can’t find out about this, I want this to be a surprise, please Maya. They can’t know until the day of my Ceremony only then will I reveal it, till then absolutely no one can know” I say, knowing exactly how I was going to spill the beans on the gender.

Baffled by my words, Maya becomes confused until she finally puts it all together about having a gender reveal along with the ceremony for me and my mates. “OMG, that would be so cute Athena, sneaky but cute” giggles Maya, as we move to leave the office, my next appointment set for two months this time.

“I know” I smile. “But the twins can’t have all the fun now” I add remembering how they always liked to be sneaky when it came down to planning.

Giggling silently to myself, I move to pull myself back from my thoughts. There gonna love it, I muse the concept for my reveal in play for tomorrow I had specifically asked for cupcakes to be served. Each cupcake was to be filled with pink and blue frosting while the top was decorated in a simple white buttercream.

“Okay my Luna, your dress is all set for tomorrow’s ceremony” replies the Omega once she was finished with her last minute touches.

“Thank you again for everything, you did an amazing job at creating this, thank you” I gushed, making the said girl blush at my praise.

“T–The pleasure was all mine… my Luna” blushes the Omega before moving to help me out of the dress, the other now holding my clothes to change back into.

“Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart” I say once more with a smile as we move to take off the dress. Butterflies now in full bloom along the pit of my stomach as the mere thought of tomorrow becomes daunting.

‘Relax, you got this. The Luna has been helping you all these months. You’re ready. It’s why they’re doing this now and not months later‘ replies Artemis hoping to calm my nerves.

‘I know.. But I can’t help it. It’s another thing my parents are missing out on‘ I tell her.
