Chapter 68
Athena’s POV
Holding baited breath, I finally move to answer them, my resolve still firm.
“I do” I finish, just as Ares and Eros both move to cut their hands as well as mine before joining our blood together, my Luna title now in full swing once all was completed the feeling strange as it pulsed beneath my skin.
Smiling softly, the twins move to embrace their new Luna. “Everyone, let’s give a big warm
welcome to our new Alpha’s and Luna of the Mystic Shadow Pack” cheers Alarick as he moves to introduce us as the new leaders, the crowd cheering in excitement to see the twins rule over in their father’s place.
With the crowd still buzzing, Alarick moves to rein them back in, where once he does, he moves to speak again. “Now then, it’s also been brought to my attention that our new Luna here, Luna Athena has also chosen her Beta, Gamma and Delta in the process, so at this time will those in
attendance please come forward“.
Patiently waiting for her chosen, Athena waits for Lucas, Emma and Emily to approach. Once close, does Athena move to perform the same ceremony for them in which she binds them to her just like Kai, Seth and Sam had been bound to their Alpha’s when they took their pledge to serve.
“You did it love, you’re officially Luna of our pack” whispers Ares happily as he moves to kiss
Athena on the hand, pride blooming deep inside of him.
“Indeed,and by the sound of those cheers, our pack really likes you” smiles Eros.
“Agree love” I quickly answered before he could ask me what was wrong. “Come we should go mingle amongst those who came to celebrate with us.”
Sporting a grin, Eros moves to take my hand before carefully leading me back down into the
crowd of people knowing exactly who he wanted me to meet first, Elise, otherwise known as Alpha Hayes, the Alpha of Dark Moon.
“Eros, slow down” I laugh, letting Eros pull me along, Ares right behind us as he chuckles.
Amused by his brother’s antics.
Where is he taking us? I muse, suddenly curious as to where Eros could be taking me until I eventually spot the same blonde hair girl that I had seen back at the Mating Ball that was hosted with the Moon Walker Pack. Is that? I wonder just as we approach the said girl, her back facing in our direction as she talks to another with black hair and emerald colored eyes, a woman standing

next to him as her black hair and blue eyes listen carefully.
“Elise?” calls Eros, catching the attention of the said girl.
“Oh, Eros didn’t expect you to find me so soon,” giggles Elise, as she moves to look at Eros and I, just as Ares approaches.
“Sorry, couldn’t help myself, Elise this is Athena, Our Luna. Athena, Darling this is Elise. Alpha of the Dark Moon Pack” smiles Eros, moving to introduce the pair.
“I know. I saw her speaking with you back at the Moon Walker pack, I didn’t know it then, but Emily and Emma eventually explained to me who she was” I smile as Elise and I shake hands.
Giggling, Elise moves to speak. “I didn’t think many people knew who I was as I rarely make a statement outside of my pack” admits Elise, causing me to blush.
“Sorry.. I didn’t mean it like that, it’s just I couldn’t help but see you in your beautiful dress then and me being too nervous to approach just watched from the sideline” I explain, not wanting to make things awkward at all.
“No it’s okay, totally get it. I would have done it too if I didn’t know who was speaking to my mates” smiles Elise, in hopes of making Athena feel at ease with her.
“Thank you” I say, my eyes now looking at the pair that stood with her. “I’m sorry where are my manors, I am Luna Athena and who might you be?”
Smiling, he moves to reply. “I’m Alpha Grant, but most people just call me Isaac. This here is my lovely mate and soon to be Luna, Sophia. Sophia comes from the Blood Rose Pack” replies Isaac as he moves to hold onto his mate.
“It’s very nice to meet you all” bows Sophia with a smile, not wanting to be rude.
“The pleasure is all ours, thank you for being able to attend” replies Ares with a smile, his eyes shifting to Isaac. “So Isaac, how are things with you and your family? We haven’t heard from you in a while, not since our last visit to the Midnight pack.”
“Things have been good, aside from some family stuff with my cousin Kaylee, everything is going well. How are Emma and Emily?” asks Isaac as he moves to look at the twins.
“They’re doing wonderful, in case you didn’t see, Emma and Emily are officially Athena’s Gamma and Delta” smiles Ares which makes Isaac smile as well.
“That’s wonderful news, congratulations again Athena on becoming Luna, these two would be lost

without you” chuckles Isaac making me blush by his words.
“Ha Ha Ha, funny, could say the same about you” snickers Eros, his history with Isaac leaving no room for debate.
Chuckling, Isaac moves to shift subjects. “So… I hear our new Luna has a surprise in store for us later this evening?” questions Isaac, his eyes now looking to Athena in hopes of learning more about this secret of hers.
“I do, but don’t think I’ll be telling you… Even my mates don’t know” giggles Athena, excited to put her plan into action. “But trust me, once it comes to light you’ll all be pleasantly surprised by
it.”
“I’m sure we will love” smiles Eros as we continue to socialize and chat a little bit longer before we each move to go our separate ways, Elise promising to keep in touch with me as we female Alpha’s needed to stick together amongst the sea of males which causes me to laugh.
‘She’ll be great to have around‘ replies Artemis, having enjoyed the Alpha’s presence.
‘Agreed, she seems nice and besides it wouldn’t hurt to have more friends,‘ I say, feeling good about Elise as we go back to walking around the vast majority of people, always making time to stop and talk to someone when they approach us, unaware that the eyes of the Council had been watching us as we did.
Feeling restless, I can’t help but glance around, a sense of uneasiness beginning to show as I move to search my surroundings. Odd.. I keep feeling like I’m being watched, come my nervous thoughts just as I catch sight of the cupcakes, everyone having eaten until their bellies were full.
‘It’s time‘ purrs Artemis, excited to finally share the news.
Nodding, I move to approach the cupcakes, Ares and Eros watching me with a questioning gaze. Once near them I move to clear my throat, alerting all to my presence. “Good Evening everyone. As many of you know, Ares, Eros and I are expecting our first set of pups. What many of you don’t know is that we’re having Triplets and for the past couple of months I’ve been secretly hiding the gender of our pups, wanting to use today to not only celebrate the Luna and Alpha Ceremony but to finally reveal the genders.” I announce, as those in attendance applauded and uttered congratulations to us.
Giving small smiles, I move to continue. “Now, as some of you might be wondering, tonight’s desert has been a little modified to fit with tonight’s events, so if everyone would carefully look towards my right, everyone will see lots and lots of cupcakes. Inside these cupcakes is a frosting that will reveal our gender. So without further ado, will Ares and Eros please come forth and each take a cupcake.”

After listening to my beautiful speech both move to approach me, each taking a cupcake before looking at me questioningly. Smiling, I move to gesture to them, each slowly moving to bite into the cupcake only to reveal blue and pink frosting which causes them to gaze at me in surprise.
‘Love?‘ asks Eros, too shocked to speak.
‘Is this true? Are we expecting girls and boys?‘ asks Ares, his eyes dancing from the cupcake to me as I nod, a smile gracing my lips. Grining, Ares moves to look at those in attendance before speaking loudly. “We’re having girls and boys.” At the subtle mention of the gender, everyone erupts into cheers and congratulations as everyone then moves to try a cupcake, the night filled with nothing but laughter and good cheer, at least that was what I had wished for, not wanting to cause trouble for tonight.
