CHAPTER 10
BRIELLE
Sitting back on the bed, I gave out a sigh, with my hands covering my face.
The thought of Argon and Estelle’s constant abuse on me, irritated me to the core.
It made me wish I could just grab them by the throat and…
“Luna,” I heard a whisper from behind.
A familiar one.
Turning around, I spotted Tania peeping into my room, to make sure it was safe for her to come
- in.
“Tania, you’re back?” I stared in surprise.
Despite Argon’s threat, she still came back. She tiptoed into the room, shutting it close with the bolt, before rushing to sit next to me.
“Tania, the Alpha had ordered you not to return here. Why did you disobey his command?” I asked, still looking at this maid that never ceases to amaze me.
She gave out a scoff, responding to my question, “I know I shouldn’t be saying this, but he lost my respect when he pushed you off the stairs.”
I was stunned to hear this from her.
She was there?
That’s when I remembered.
The voice that screamed out for help. That was Tania. No wonder I was confused the other day, trying to figure out where I had heard her voice before.
Tania took hold of my hands with sadness in her eyes, saying, “Luna, you shouldn’t stay here with this people. They are cruel and devilish. Please, just sign the divorce paper and leave. You have your whole life ahead of you. Don’t waste it in this prison called a home.
“Tania, 1 called noticing the bitterness in her voice.
Her eyes were already welling with tears, as she begged me once again to leave Argon.

“He doesn’t care about you, Luna. Look at what he did to you and… And to your baby,” She sniveled, staring into my eyes.
My heart sank when I saw the pains resting within her brown eyes. She reminded me of the sorrow I felt when the doctor revealed my baby was gone.
My heart came sinking with tristesse.
“Please leave this place. You don’t have to worry about going alone, because I’ll come with you. I’ll follow you wherever you go, Luna,” She promised, wiping her tears.
I was moved by Tania’s zeal and passion to serve me. But why this much love?
“You have me to stand by your side. Just sign those papers and let’s leave.” She sniffed, looking at
- me.
When she noticed how silent I was, Tania gave a light curve to the side of her lips and said, “I know you might be wondering why I’m being so clingy to you, Luna. It’s because of your good deeds in the past.”
My good deeds?
That’s when Tania revealed to me about the first time she came into the mansion to serve as a
servant.
She had no one, not even a home to call hers. She has been roaming the streets, looking for food.

There was an occasion taking place at the mansion and she had used that opportunity to come.

“The guards were trying to send me off. That’s when you came and pretended to know me. Do you

I had forgotten about that day, because it became a sad one for me.
Argon had hurt my feelings at that time, and I didn’t want to think about it.
But now that she mentioned it, I flashed to that period and remembered how it all went.
Yes, that was Tania.
She looked so filthy in rags, and her hair was unkempt as well. Anyone that had seen her that day, would mistake her for a mad lady.

But I was drawn to her.
I had lied to the guards about Tania being a friend taking her in to get dressed. When she was looking all clean, she begged for some food to eat, and I took pity on her.
I don’t know what moved me that moment. I just offered her a place here in the mansion, to serve
as a maid.
She was so happy.
I can still remember the embrace she gave to me as an appreciation.
How could I have forgotten about her?
“With all that has been happening between you and Alpha Argon, you had no time to yourself. You were always in depression,” Tania said, pointing out the reason.
It was all because of Argon and his constant bullying on me.
That’s why I forgot about that day and about Tania.
“Tania, I’m sorry. I didn’t realize you were the lady I…”
“Luna, it’s fine. I understand you,” She said, still holding my hands.
She showed her understanding to my pains and shared the promise she made after that day.
She had vowed to be by my side for the rest of her life.
“And I will not serve any other person, but you. You have my word,” She vowed.
This touched me deeply. I never thought an old deed would come back to favor me.
Tania has been true to her words, keeping me company.
She has won my heart.
“This cub amazes me. Take special care of her, Brielle. She’s a fine one, Bane voiced, showing her interest in her.
This showed that Bane and I were both on the same page.
Tania is wonderful.

Again, Tania advised me to sign the divorce paper and leave. But I refused to do so,
“Why Luna?” She asked.
“I made a promise to the late Alpha before he passed away. I won’t leave this place until that promise is fulfilled.”
She couldn’t say anything else but lower her head at my wish.
*Alright, Luna. But if you need my assistance in anything, don’t hesitate to call me. I will help out.
“Thank you, Tania, “I appreciated, hugging her.
I know she’s upset with the treatment given to me by Argon, but she has to bear it, until I’m done with my mission.
That night, after having my dinner, I was about to get into bed and sleep when a knock came on
my door.
There was a sense that came streaming into my nose, making me aware of who was outside
room.

Approaching and opening the door, I met one of Argon’s guards, standing there.
He had a strong face, showing no sigh of emotions.
“Alpha Argon and Luna Estelle request for your service in their room, immediately,” He reported.
My eyes came a bit large by this sudden summon, sending my attention to the clock in my room.
It’s almost midnight.
“By this time?” I uttered, facing the guard. But he didn’t care.
“They seek for your service at once. Failure to respond, you’ll be punished,” He delivered, walking
away.
This left me feeling upset. A guard that used to show me respect back then, now treats me like a slave.
Why am I even bothered? It’s the order from his Alpha.

Not wanting any trouble with those lovebirds, I left my room and went to meet them in theirs.
When I got there, I found the bedroom decorated with sparkling red and white lights, with a small table holding a bottle of wine and two glasses.
The floor had rose petals all around, including on the bed, shaped like a heart.
“What the hell is going on here? Is this some kind of shrine?” Bane muffled at what she saw.
I was amused by this arrangement, having a hint on what was about to occur.
Those two are on a date.
“I’ve never been on a date before.” I stared at the decorations, feeling sad.
“Argon has never had a date with me.”
This ached my heart, as I stepped in fully, looking for them. But I didn’t see a sign of Argon or
Estelle.
Their scent was strong, indicating how close they were.
That’s when Bane came out growling with detest, taking my attention to the corner to spot Argon and Estelle stepping out of the bathroom, putting on night robes while laughing.
“No, stop it. You can only have another look when we get into bed,” Estelle said, seductively.
Her arms falling around Argon’s neck while his arms wrapped her waist, pulling her close for a
kiss.
As Estelle giggled with delight, her yellow eyes flashed my way in an instant, looking surprised to
see me.
“What are you looking at, you slave?!” She groaned out, making my presence known to Argon.
He turned around to look, glaring back at me.
I just dropped my gaze down, apologizing.
“I didn’t mean to interrupt, but I was told you needed my service.”
“Yes, indeed, “Argon answered.
They both walked towards the bed, sitting down comfortably, before Argon ordered me to serve

them their wine.
“Its
an expensive drink meant for those of Royal standard. So, don’t spill it,” Estelle bragged, leaning into Argon’s hold.
I nodded at her words, trying to control myself around them while drawing closer to the table.
The wine was already opened. I lifted the bottle and began pouring the wine into the glass carefully.
“My love,” Estelle called Argon sweetly.
I slowly lifted my gaze to see what they were doing.
Estelle had her hand running on Argon’s chest temptingly, with her eyes flashing with hunger.
“I really want you tonight,” She purred, taking his earlobe in her mouth.
Argon was slowly getting tempted by her mood, as he reached for her lap, caressing it with desire.
“You don’t have to ask, my love. You can have whatever you want, including me,” He whispered, kissing her neck with his lips trailing every part of it.
Irritation filled my entire body when I saw this. I immediately took my eyes away from them, feeling a stab in my chest.
I was… I was hurt seeing them together.
“Oh, they want to play naughty huh? Bane said, almost making me lose my focus.
“Well two can play that game.
All of a sudden, without any notice, I felt my body being pulled back with force, followed by darkness all around me
When I lifted my eyes….
“Let me serve them for you,” Bane said.
Goodness! She has taken over.
As Argon and Estelle continued with their intimacy, Bane, who was now in control of my body, lifted one glass of wine from the table, saying, Here’s your…Oops!”

To my surprise, she tossed the wine directly at Argon and Estelle’s face.
Mostly aiming at Estelle.
“What the hell?!” Estelle screamed out, trying to wipe the wine off her face.
Argon was doing the same.
“Are you mad?! Were your eyes closed?!” He yelled at me, still wiping his face.
“I’m sorry. I don’t know how it slipped. Wait, let me grab a… Whoops!”
Again, she pushed the table with her leg, causing the bottle to turn over, pouring directly on
Estelle’s white robe.
Estelle screamed out, rising to her feet in anger.
“I’m sorry,” Bane kept apologizing, pretending to be scared. But this wolf doesn’t give a damn
about them..
And I won’t lie, I was enjoying this.
“You wretch?!” Estelle groaned, kicking the table aside.
She came up to me and swooshed her hand for a slap.
But to her greatest surprise, Bane caught her hand, leaving Estelle stunned by this.
“How… How dare you?!” She yelled, trying to pull her hand back, but Bane didn’t allow it.
“I said I was sorry.
Where you deaf?” Bane delivered a nasty glare at Estelle, shocking her.
I could feel her grip go tight around Estelle’s wrist. This surprised Estelle, who quickly pulled her hand away, stepping back from Bane’s point.
Her eyes, they no longer shimmered yellow but showed her fear written within.
“Brielle!” Argon roared out from the right.
When Bane turned to face him, she was given a push to the wall by Argon, causing Bane to hit her back roughly.
And when he did that, I felt my whole body heating up. I could feel rage, but it wasn’t mine.

This was Bane’s.
“Bane, I called, noticing that my wolf was getting mad over Argon’s action, and I don’t want that.
Not now!
“How dare you?! You have no right to speak to my Luna in that tone!” Argon shouted, failing to see what was about to happen.
The heat was getting intense and I knew I had to do something before it was too late.
“Bane, don’t do it. Bane! Control yourself!” I yelled trying to get her to stay strong.
Suddenly, Bane roared out loudly.
The moment she did that, I was pulled back into my body. She had switched places before she came exploding.
“Oh, thank you goddess, “I was feeling relieved about this, only to see Argon and Estelle staring at me in a strange way.
Why are they surprise?
“Did you just roar at me?” Argon questioned, lifting his brow.
“Wait, did they hear when Bane screamed?” I shivered in fear, staring back at them.
They looked mad, mistaking Bane’s roar as an act of disrespect.
“I gave you an order to apologize to your Luna and you screamed?”
“No, I… It wasn’t…” I stammered, thinking of what to do.
Estelle, who was raged over what Bane did, ordered Argon to punish me.
“She even dared to hold my hand. Just punish her, Estelle suggested.
And Argon agreed to his lover’s wish. He walked up to me

“You heard the Alpha. Apologize to your Luna, She ordered, lifting my chin with her feet.
“The audacity! Brielle, chop off that stinky feet! Bane roared within.
With the way they were treating me, I decided not to give in to their wish.
Instead…
“Argh!” I screamed, falling to the ground with my arms wrapping my stomach, faking pains in my
abdomen.
This shivered Argon and Estelle, who couldn’t understand what was happening to me.
“Brielle! Argon called, drawing closer to me.
“What’s wrong with you?” He questioned, trying to get me to my feet. But I kept on squabbling and crying, acting like one in pain.
“She’s faking it. Don’t believe her, Estelle claimed, trying to get Argon to ignore me.
But to her shame and my surprise, Argon lifted me off the floor and into his arms, racing out of
the room.
This stunned me.
He actually bought it.
