Chapter 5
Scattered across the floor were crumpled women’s stockings.
Walking further in, I found wonton’s underwear, men’s ties, and socks thrown everywhere.
Looking at the mess everywhere, I suddenly found it somewhat amusing these two were really going at it wild.
But when I reached the master bedroom door, my smile suddenly froze.
My silk pajamas had been tossed on the floor, with suspicious stains on them.
Rage surged through me.
I took a deep breath and pushed the door open. The sight that greeted me was Piper, scantily dressed, straddling Knox. And Knox was wearing nothing
but shorts.
Seeing me suddenly return, Knox’s face changed as he hurriedly tried to get up: “Babe, why are you back?”
“No–no, listen, we weren’t doing anything…”
Piper interrupted him with a light laugh, her voice sweet: “Oh, you’re home, Riley! Don’t get the wrong idea–we were just playing cosplay.”
“Summer swimsuit theme. We weren’t doing anything, promise.”
As I walked forward step by step expressionlessly, Knox’s face grew paler and paler.
“Riley, nothing happened, I swear. Trust me.”
Without answering, I simply raised my hand, but Knox instinctively ducked his head and even raised his arm to shield his face.
Next second, with a click, I opened the bedside drawer.
I held up my passport with a smile in my voice: “I’m just grabbing something. Look how scared you are.”
Piper also laughed, letting out a snicker: “Haha, Riley has such a great attitude.”
Knox shot Piper a glare, then nervously grabbed my arm: “Why do you need your passport? Where are you going?”
Before I could answer, Piper got out of bed, her naked legs stretching as she moved: “I heard from Knox that your job requires frequent travel?”
“Going somewhere far this time? How long will you be gone?”
“With you two being apart so often, you better not cheat!”
I turned to face her: “Who the hell do you think you are to talk to me like that?”
Before I finished speaking, I kicked her hard in the stomach.
With a cry of shock, Piper stumbled backward several steps, knocking over the floor lamp beside the bed. A clear footprint appeared on her pale
stomach.
She was in too much pain to get up, and could only point at me with trembling fingers, her voice weak: “You… you dare hit me again…”
I smiled: “I’d dare to hit Knox’s mother. Who are you to me?”
I’ve studied Taekwondo since elementary school and earned my black belt in middle–school.
To this day, there aren’t many people who can beat me in a fight.
Knox had seen what I was capable of and didn’t dare intervene.
He just quietly went to help Piper up, only to be berated by her.

I didn’t want to watch this pathetic couple any longer and turned to leave. But Knox caught up with me: “Riley, where are You Lord! –

Knox hesitated for a moment and explained again: “Nothing happened between us, I swear. You kicked her, so you’ve vented your anger Dont be told

The rage I’d been suppressing boiled over, and I laughed bitterly: “I kicked her, but I forgot to kick you.”
Hearing this. Knox’s body tensed as he nervously closed his eyes.
But nothing happened.
When he opened his eyes, I was already at the entryway.
A flash of bewilderment crossed Knox’s eyes, his voice faltering: “Riley, why are you… different from before?”
“Think carefully about what I said before.”
After saying this, I pushed open the door and strode out.
