They nodded. Chase politely said to Tim, “I’m busy and can’t host you. Sorry.”

Chase glanced at Ashley, said nothing, and left with Tanya. He had many companies. Tim hadn’t expected Chase and Tanya to be at Xundu. He patted Ashley’s shoulder. Ashley shook her head. She was prepared to see Chase. But she hadn’t expected Tanya to be there. Director Mo said Tanya had been to Xundu before, but she hadn’t expected her to be so
amiliar with the place.
The contract included technical cooperation; they discussed every clause carefully. It was 5 pm
to Chase. when they finished. Tim signed. Director King took the documents
Tim paused, “Mr. Sterling is still here?”
“Yes.” Director Mo said, “He’s busy with another project.”
Was he truly busy, or did he avoid contact with her? Ashley thought the same. Director Mo and Tim were both tech experts and knew each other. After signing, he whispered, “Mrs. Sterling is here too. She’s been with Mr. Sterling all day; their relationship is great.”
Ashley, sitting next to Tim, overheard. King returned with Chase’s signature. Tim had a private matter and declined King’s invitation. They left politely and encountered Chase and Tanya in the elevator.
