Sam yawned, snuggling into her mother’s arms.“Okay, Mommy, let’s sleep. Goodnight.” Ashley replied, “Goodnight.” She turned off the light.
The next morning, Ashley woke before dawn. Sam was still asleep. After washing up, she went downstairs and into the kitchen. Around seven, she went upstairs. Sam was awake, quickly minimizing her WeChat chat window upon seeing her.
