The next day, they returned to work at Longmo. The projects were gaining momentum, and they were soon fully immersed in their work. They were incredibly busy.

Ashley was puzzled.“Christmas is almost here? Already?”
“Yeah,” a colleague yawned.“The festive mood is strong outside. Want to go out after work?” Ashley, still busy, declined.
Leaving work, Ashley planned to buy new flowers for her home. She found the streets lively, filled with couples celebrating the festive season. Seeing this, she felt a pang of loneliness.
