The doorbell’s chime echoed through Moon Valley Residences like a death knell. My pregnant wolf stirred uneasily within me as I watched Olivia approach the entrance, her expression shifting from casual curiosity
to alarm.
“Aria, stay back!” she shouted, but it was too late.
Alexander stood at the threshold with an expression I had never seen before. His amber eyes held a wild, unhinged gleam that made my blood run cold. This wasn’t the cold, distant Alpha I had divorced. This was
something far more dangerous.
Olivia reacted first, her wolf’s Instincts screaming danger as she tried to slam the door shut. But Alexander kicked it open with his Alpha strength, the heavy wood splintering under the force. The impact sent Olivia staggering backward, her wolf whimpering in pain as she struggled to maintain her balance.
“No!” I screamed, my hand instinctively moving to protect my swollen belly.
Before Olivia could shift or defend herself, seven or eight armed men in black rushed into the room like a pack of hunting wolves. Their scents revealed they were rogues working for money, mercenaries with no loyalty except to whoever paid them.
The rogues moved with practiced efficiency, pinning Olivia to the ground before she could transform. Her wolf’s distressed whimpers filled the air as they restrained her with silver–lined restraints.
“It’s over,” I thought desperately, my pregnant wolf cowering within me. Alexander had clearly planned this
assault on our territory with military precision.
“Run, Aria!” Olivia shouted, her voice strained with pain but fierce with protective determination. “Get upstairs! Call for help!”
I turned to flee toward the staircase, my pregnancy making my movements slower than usual. My wolf howled silently with terror as I heard Alexander’s cold laughter behind me.
“Where do you think you’re going, my dear mate?” his voice carried the twisted authority of a broken Alpha.
Before I could reach the stairs, rough hands grabbed my wrist with enhanced werewolf strength. I struggled desperately, trying to break free while protecting my belly.
“Let me go!” I yelled, my wolf bristling with fear and fury. “You have no right to be here!”
Alexander approached with predatory steps, his amber eyes wild with obsession. His smile was sinister, showing his complete break from sanity.
“Be careful not to hurt her,” he commanded the rogues, his Alpha authority still commanding despite his madness. “She’s carrying precious cargo.”

“No!” I struggled harder, but the rogues‘ grip was unbreakable. “I won’t go anywhere with you!”
Before I could say more, one of the men stuffed a cloth in my mouth, making me gag. My pregnant wolf panicked at the inability to breathe properly, and I fought desperately against the restraints.
Olivia, witnessing my distress, tried to get up to help me despite her own restraints. “Don’t touch her!” she
screamed.
One of the rogue wolves kicked her in the stomach with vicious force, and she doubled over in pain. I struggled desperately to help my friend, but stronger hands held me back.
“Let’s go,” Alexander ordered with cold Alpha authority. “We have a schedule to keep.”
I was dragged outside and shoved into a waiting SUV, the vehicle speeding away from Moon Valley
Residences before anyone could respond. Through the rear window, I caught a glimpse of Olivia struggling to stand, her phone in her hand.
“Call Dominic,” I prayed silently. “Please call Dominic.“.
As the car drove into increasingly remote areas beyond pack territories, my anxiety grew exponentially. My wolf whimpered with fear for our pup’s safety, and I tried to memorize every landmark we passed.
“Dominic will definitely come to save me!” I thought desperately, knowing our mate bond would alert him to my distress.
Looking out the window, I recognized we were heading toward the neutral territories, away from any pack protection or jurisdiction.
“Thinking Dominic can save you?” Alexander mocked, grabbing my chin with possessive Alpha strength. His fingers dug into my skin painfully.
“What if I told him to stab himself a few times?” he continued, his voice dropping to a dangerous whisper. “Do you think he would do it to get you back?”
My eyes widened in terror, realizing the depth of his madness. Alexander wasn’t just obsessed – he was completely unhinged.
“Alexander is completely insane!” realized, my pregnant wolf trembling with fear.
The implications of his words hit me like a physical blow. He wasn’t just planning to take me somewhere. He was planning to use me as leverage against Dominic.
Suddenly, a voice crackled over the radio in the front seat, urgent and tense. “The men we left behind have been captured!”

“A bunch of trash!” the mercenary driver cursed, his knuckles white on the steering wheel.
He turned to Alexander with anger blazing in his eyes. “You didn’t mention I would lose so many brothers! This wasn’t part of the deal!”
Alexander’s expression remained coldly unmoved, his Alpha dominance still intimidating despite his madness. “Your men are too useless. That’s not my problem.”
The driver glared at Alexander, his wolf’s fury evident, but Alexander remained unfazed by the threat. His amber eyes gleamed with dangerous confidence.
“Follow closely,” the driver told his partner. “We’re entering the mountains beyond pack jurisdiction.”
My heart sank as his words confirmed my worst fears. We were leaving all werewolf territories behind, heading into lawless lands where no pack authority could reach us.
I tried to listen to every word the mercenaries spoke, desperately trying to figure out where we were going. The road became increasingly bumpy, the trees growing thicker with each mile.
“Alexander wants to take me somewhere far from the Northern Territory!” I realized with growing horror.
The landscape outside grew wilder and more forbidding. We were entering territory that belonged to no pack, where anything could happen.
With the cloth still in my mouth, I glared at Alexander, trying to communicate my fury through my eyes. My wolf’s rage was evident despite my physical restraints.
Alexander caressed my face with false tenderness, his touch making my skin crawl. I turned away in disgust, but he continued speaking in that soft, delusional tone.
“I know you’re uncomfortable,” he said, almost crooning. “We’ll be on a helicopter soon.”
My heart skipped a beat, my pregnant wolf whimpering with terror. “Helicopter?” My mind began to buzz with
panic.
“What’s he trying to do? Where is he taking me?” I wondered desperately.
“I’ll take you somewhere no one knows us,” Alexander continued, his voice carrying the delusion of a broken Alpha. “Somewhere we can start over, okay? Just you, me, and our pup.”
“He’s taking me abroad!” I thought anxiously, realizing we were heading north, toward the border territories. The pieces fell into place with terrifying clarity. Alexander wasn’t just k********g me for revenge. He was planning to take me completely away from everything and everyone I knew.
“Alexander is completely mad!” The thought echoed in my mind as I stared at his deranged expression.
(Alexander’s POV)
“Are you thinking I’m crazy?” I chuckled, watching Aria’s terrified expression with deep satisfaction. My wolf finally felt in control again after months of humiliation.
“I’m completely sober,” I told her, enjoying the fear I could smell radiating from her. “I’ve been planning this for a month, waiting for today!”
Her eyes widened in shock, and I could practically see her mind racing. “A month ago?” I could see he thinking. “Was the collapse of the Storm Pack also a smokescreen? All for this?”
