«MoonlitMountain) Chapter 12
Olivia knew Caleb liked her, but she had always thought it was because he treated her like a sister. The night she found out he was going to tell her how he felt, she was about to bring her boyfriend
home to meet her parents. To avoid
embarrassment, she married Daniel and
moved overseas.
Daniel loved her, but he was so busy with work that their marriage cracked. She shared her unhappy marriage on Moments, and Caleb saw that. That was why he kept leaving gifts and flowers at her door. She knew Caleb was married, and she didn’t want to make things complicated. Just as she was about to
throw those gifts and flowers away,

exploded. She divorced Daniel secretly and returned home. Her parents were overseas, so she planned to stay at a hotel of her parents‘. However, Caleb got the news of her divorce and came looking for her. She didn’t want to stay at his place, but he insisted. She agreed only because she thought I wouldn’t let her stay. To her surprise, however, I said nothing
aboutthis. When her renovation was
done, she moved out secretly, because she didn’t want to ruin her friendship with Caleb. What bothered her was that he

Daniel pulled Olivia away.“Olivia!”
Caleb tried to grab her, but Daniel’s
bodyguards stopped him.
“Olivia, I was wrong. I apologize. I
promise it won’t happen again. Will you
come home with me? I’ve withdrawn the
divorce papers.”
Olivia hesitated.
“Olivia, no!” Caleb was panicked. If she went back to Daniel, she’d be hurt again. Chloe nodded. “Olivia, my brother
is the best.”
Olivia looked at Caleb.“Caleb, thank you for everything you did for me these days.”
Caleb crumbled.“Olivia…”

Olivia bit her lip.“I was born weak and it’s just really difficult for me to say no to others. You’ve helped me a lot,
thank you. Now, I finally have the courage to say no. I don’t love you. I won’t be with you. I’m sorry for all the
misunderstandings caused by my
weakness.”
“Sarah is a good woman. I’m sorry to
her, too.”
“Caleb, let’s not see each other again.”
The commotion ended. Caleb was alone again. Judith sighed, angry and heartbroken. Why was he so love—stuck?
This time, no one would come to heal
him. The blows had changed Caleb.
The gossip spread overseas.
