He looked every bit the business professional.
“Did you go grocery shopping?”
I was shocked to see what Ethan was holding.
He walked into my house and placed the groceries in the kitchen before taking off his jacker
Where’s the apront
I froze, watching his calm movements, and answered honestly.
“On the wall.”
After putting on the apron, Ethan pushed up his glasses
“I’ve written up everything for the meeting this afternoon and put it in my bag.”

He closed the kitchen door bebind him.
I stood there, thinking for a moment, and couldn’t help but smile.
Before Nathaniel and I were together, than always did this–taking care of everything for me.
Whenever I asked him why he was so nice to me, he’d always reply.
“Because you’re too clueless, so I might as well do it for you.”
I chuckled and pulled the file out of Ethan’s bag, reading through it carefully. The meeting with Nathaniel’s lawyer that afternoon was going to be a Lough one.
I had to admit, Ethan was an amazing lawyer
He’d thought of everything, even things I hadn’t considered.
As I read the papers, I could almost picture him sitting in his office, planning everything step by step.
Just then, I heard a knock at the door.
I put the papers down and walked over to opes it.
“What are you doing here?
Standing outside were Nathaniel and our son, Nathaniel Jr.
“Mom, I missed you.”

Nathaniel’s eyes flickered with awawment as he said,
Vivi, still care about me, huh? Don’t worry, I’m fine.”
I held back the arge to roll my eyes and was about to push them out when I heard Ethan’s voice,
