Celeste stared at Leon’s charismatic face, her already sour mood souring further.
Her flawless face was so cold, making her appear intimidating.
Leon’s eyes were filled with confusion. “Celeste, how do you know about antiques?”
He thought back to the auction, where she had instantly spotted the fake vase. His father had said she must have some hidden secrets, with a unique eye for such things. Even the expert his father had hired hadn’t been able to spot the forgery.
But to him, this Celeste was poisonous.
The most dangerous kind of devil was one who kept their true self hidden and didn’t reveal their inner workings.
Leon had been surrounded by beauty since he was eighteen and understood women well.
Celeste smiled mysteriously, “Guess!”

As Leon looked at her breathtaking smile, he felt a shiver.
“Heh.” Leon chuckled, moving closer to her, the distance between them shrinking.

He caught a whiff of Celeste’s clean, fresh scent. Unlike other women, this pure fragrance was unique to her.
“Celeste, you’re so beautiful when you smile. Just tell me, how did you know the vase was fake?”
His handsome face was more serious than usual.
A mischievous grin spread across Celeste’s face. “I’m not telling you!”
Her voice was as light as a feather, her demeanor enchanting.
“Damn,” Leon muttered, stunned into immobility.
Celeste frowned, taking a step back. She thought Leon was not quite right in the head.
“Celeste, since you and Nathaniel are divorced, can I pursue you?” Leon asked, feeling a sudden flutter in his heart.
She mocked him, “I seem to recall someone calling me a stupid, clumsy beauty and saying he wanted to pursue Madelynn. How quickly your heart has changed, Mr.

Leon blinked, thinking, “Right! What was I thinking?

He quickly took a step back.
Celeste’s face remained cold as she got into her car.
Suddenly, someone tapped his shoulder.
A pleasant female voice asked, “Hey! Did you call Celeste a stupid, clumsy beauty?”
Leon turned to face a woman with a cold, arrogant beauty. His eyes widened in surprise. “Wow! You’re gorgeous. Hi, I’m Leon. Let’s get to know each other.”
Briar saw the look of admiration in his eyes and swiftly kicked him in the shin.
“Get to know each other? You don’t deserve it!”
“Ouch!” Leon let out an ear–splitting cry, bending down in
pain.

Briar mocked, “Huh, what a weakling. Can’t you even handle a little pain, and yet you dare to insult others? Stupid, clumsy man, take that back.
“And your IQ has hit negative numbers. I hope you find a way to the hell and stay there, so you don’t disgust anyone else.”
With that, Briar got into the car and drove off.
Leon was so angry that he forgot about the pain, staring at the departing luxury car. He thought, “Why is that woman so vicious with her words?”
He regretted not giving a better retort.
“What are you doing here?” Nathaniel asked, looking down at him.
He thought, “How dare Leon even think of pursuing my ex–wife!”
Leon stood up straight, his handsome face flushed with anger.
“That woman is heavy–handed,” Leon muttered. The pain felt like thousands of ants were gnawing at him:
