Nathaniel opened the door. Their eyes met. Nathaniel’s gaze was still full of annoyance and disdain.
Celeste felt a sharp pain. She didn’t understand why Nathaniel suddenly hated her like this.
She took a deep breath. She suppressed the unbearable sadness. “Please, Mr. Rowe, could you hand it to me?”
She still remembered that when she went to the company, he didn’t even let her in.
Nathaniel let out a cold laugh. His tone was mocking. “Mr. Rowe? Celeste, are we really this distant after the divorce? Hmm…” he said, dragging out the last word with anger.
His
gaze was fixed on her pale face. His eyes briefly glanced at her shoulder where the gunshot wound was.
Celeste didn’t understand his behavior. She had always had a doubt in her heart, and now she wanted to ask him, “Nathaniel, you pursued me because of a bet. You said I was dirty because Madelynn betrayed me. Why?”
She had been thinking about this for a long time. Now that they met, she wanted to clear things up.
Nathaniel’s eyes suddenly turned ruthless. “Celeste, you dare to

If it weren’t for her betrayal, how would Griffin have died!

Nathaniel turned around. He went to the table and took out a stack of photos. He threw them at Celeste.
“Celeste, you say I betrayed you. Haha… But didn’t you betray me first?” Nathaniel said as he ruthlessly slammed the photos. into Celeste’s face.
Celeste looked at the photos on the ground. A handsome boy with strikingly beautiful features was smiling as he held her. He was even more handsome than Nathaniel.
There were six photos in total. Each one was new to her. They were taken with Griffin in the garden.
This… This was Griffin!
The pain in her heart surged up crazily in an instant.
She squatted down. Her tears fell. Her pale, slender hands trembled as she picked up the photos individually.
“Griffin,” she said. She picked up the photos and held them close, closing her eyes in deep pain.
It was as if she saw that smiling young genius again.
“Celly, Celly… Celly… The sun’s already up. Why do you love to sleep in so much? Get up. I made your favorite spaghetti!” he

The boy’s voice was cheerful and pleasant.

Nathaniel had never seen Celeste so vulnerable. It was the first time he saw her cry so heartbreakingly for another man.
The anger that had been suppressed in his heart exploded like a flood. His bones felt like they were about to burst. She had always loved another man.
“Celeste, don’t dirty my floor with your tears,” he said, gritting his teeth in hatred.
Celeste suddenly snapped out of her sorrow. She looked at the man in front of her, whose eyes were filled with malice. Her deep eyes burned with fire as she asked excitedly, “Nathaniel, where did you get these photos?”
Very few people knew Griffin’s identity.
How did Nathaniel have these photos?
“Could it be… Could it be you…” “Could he have killed Griffin?” She thought.
Nathaniel frowned. He looked at her devastated expression. He couldn’t control his raging anger. His grip suddenly clamped around her neck. “Celeste, I’m your husband. Yet you smiled so charmingly in another man’s arms. What do you take me for?”

His hands were trembling. When he saw these photos, endless despair and anger swallowed him.
He couldn’t believe it. The girl he had pursued for three years, the girl he had loved for four years, had another man in her heart.
Celeste was heartbroken. She closed her eyes. At that moment, she even hoped Nathaniel would strangle her to death. She was in so much pain. Her heart was in so much pain!
The pain that had built up for four years was now brutally ripped open.
She silently broke down. Her tears fell like a string of broken pearls. Each drop hit Nathaniel’s wrist. The scalding tears made him quickly pull his hand back.
