Zoey hugged both of them, spinning them around.Clara shrieked, “Zoey!! Put my daughter

But the girls were laughing.
Evelyn quickly patted Zoey’s back; she was afraid Zoey would treat Raina and Penny like shot puts.
“Let’s go to school,” Evelyn said.
Zoey put down her friends, her own face bright and healthy. She looked at the file in Evelyn’s hand.
“Can my file be put back?”
Evelyn said, “You’ve changed your name. I’m here to request a name change on your record.”
Evelyn knelt, speaking seriously.“Zoey, you miss your friends. I support your
decision.But you and Ducky are in the same class…”

Caleb was enveloped in a cold fury.As he reached the executive elevator, a “maintenance” sign blocked his way.His mood darkened further.Since the divorce, nothing had gone right. The secretary was sweating.“Mr. Fu, the executive elevator is out of service.It’ll be at least half an hour.”
“I’ll clear the staff elevator.”
“No need,” Caleb said coldly. He went to the staff elevator, and the employees bowed.
Good morning, Mr. Fu.”
He nodded curtly.Standing amidst a dozen employees, his cold aura created distance. As the elevator ascended, everyone was silent. They avoided his gaze, pretending to be busy with their phones.
