He pounded on the car hood and begged. “Charlotte Edwards,get out of the car. I have something to say to you.”
Rogerio asked seriously. “Should we get out?”
I shook my head.rolled down the window. “Say it here.”
Charles hesitated for less than five seconds,then abandoned the car hood and ran to my side. “Charlotte Edwards.I was wrong. I really was wrong.”

Charles froze,then immediately denied. “How could I know? I took you and ran away_”
I sighed lightly.
“Are you still trying to lie to me?”

Without hesitation,I rolled up the window. Rogerio stepped on the gas,and the car sped away.

“What about his woman?” Rogerio asked gossipingly, “Didn’t she swear she would stay with him no matter what?”
I smiled. “She’s long gone. Olivia is the kind of woman who never had a genuine heart. But with Charles,they’re a perfect match.”
