Chapter 91
“Damion.” I scold.
He sighs with the same pout on and hesitantly lets me go. I turn around quickly and peck his pout which makes him fight off a smile. I start to walk into school, but not before looking over my shoulder and blowing a kiss to our friends who most definitely just watched our whole encounter. They are all standing right where they were with wide eyes and open mouths.

go to my locker and put away/grab books. I don’t see Kasey or the guys at their lockers, so I guess they are still in the parking lot or walking into school now.
The bell for class rings, so I close my locker and go into class. Soon my friends come in, Blake and Kasey sit by me and the rest of the guys sit in the back. For the rest of my classes Damion gives me just enough space so I don’t kill him. Basically, he sits one row behind me the whole day.
The lunch bell rings and all the kids flood the hallways. I put my books in my locker and am about to tell Kasey I will meet her after I go see someone when she jerks her chin forward to signal there is someone next to me.
I turn an of course it Damion. I frown and turn my body to him. He doesn’t talk and then I realize I literally told him not to talk to me. I roll my eyes and tell him he can.
“How much longer? You are killing me here Lee.” He says semi–angrily.
I raise my bitch brow at his tone and he sighs and apologizes. I nod, “I will sit by you at lunch, but not until I come back from seeing someone.” He brows furrow.
“Who? And can I touch you at lunch?”
“How about you can touch me if you don’t get an answer to your other question.” I bargain not wanting to tell him its Alex I am going to see.
“Lee.” He groans.
I shrug, “Take it or leave it babe.” His eyes snap to mine when I call him babe. He loves it.

Grumpily he replies, “Fine, but it will be more than hand holding. Your ass better be on my Jap with your hands playing with my hair.”
I smile and out my hand out to shake, “Pleasure doing business, Mr. Cruz.” He looks at my hand, smacks it away, and lifts my chin with his finger before kissing me.
“Pleasure doing business with you, Mrs. Cruz.” He whispers so only I hear.
My jaw drops causing him to smirk. Then, he walks to lunch and I am left there gaping.
Kasey’s arm wraps around my shoulder as I watch him walk away.
She laughs, “I hope you plan on getting married the day you turn eighteen because Damion is going to propose and have the marriage certificate ready for you to sign
I turn to her with a ‘what the fuck‘ expression, making her laugh more. I push her arm off and tell her, “I am not getting married at eighteen dumbss. I will see you at lunch. Bye.” I say as I walk to the bleachers.
When I get there, I don’t see anyone. “Alex?” I say.
I start to walk under and then someone taps my shoulder form behind me. I whip around and see that its just Alex.
“Alex. You have got to stop doing that. I would like to not go into cardiac arrest at sixteen.”
He laughs and apologizes. Then, he walks to just outside the bleachers and looks around. I go meet him and we just stand in silence for a few minutes.
“I think you and I are going to be good friends.” I tell him. He looks at me and smiles.
“I hope so.”
I take him to sit on the bleachers and we talk for awhile. He tells me about places he’s lived and I tell him about how I grew up in Sun Valley and recently moved back. He doesn’t ask why, and I don’t tell him.
Alex looks behind us like he sees someone or something. Then, he looks towards me. “Shouldn’t you be with your boyfriend?”

My eyes widen and I realize I am probably late to sit with Damion “Shit. Yeah I gotta go. I grab my stuff and he stands up with me.
“I’ll see you around.” He says not really believing it.
I walk to the bottom of the steps and look back at him, “How’s tomorrow? Same place and
time?”
He smiles and nods, “Works for me.”
“Good. Oh and here.” I toss him a granola bar.
“You didn’t eat. I don’t like that.”
He smiles, “Got it. I will be sure to have something tomorrow.”
I nod and walk to the school gates. Damion is there looking for me. He sees me and frowns,
“You took to long.”
“Sorry, I was just catching up with someone.” I say vaguely.
He nods, but keeps his question to himself likes we agreed. We walk into the cafeteria and sit down. I say hi to everyone and Damion hands me a turkey sandwich from the lunch. ladies. Then, he pulls me onto his lap and leans his head onto my shoulder… well more like boob since I am taller right now. He has his arms around my waist, and I have one hand playing with his hair and the other holding my sandwich while I eat it.
