I laugh a little, “Relax, you have years to learn.”
She sighs in relief and nods.
“Will you tell me more about mates?” She asks.
“Sweetheart, I’ll tell you anything you want as long as you stay by my side.”
Lee’s
POV:
“Amber’s a wolf too!” I yell.
Damion laughs at my reaction, but I don’t even care because I am so shocked right now.
“Yeah, that’s why Luca was there to tell you. When he found it he was a little… confused to
say the least.” Damion says.
“No kidding. Wait, does that means they are mates too?” I ask.
“Yup.”
“Huh. Good thing I like her.” I say with a shrug.
Damion nods and pulls me closer as he stands behind me. Mr. and Mrs. Cruz are in the living room and me and Damion are in the kitchen eating Lucky Charms out of the box.
I sigh, “Well I better get going.”
Damion freeze mid crunch and frowns at me, “Why? Is it because of that guy?” He accuses.
I scrunch up my face in confusion, “What guy?”
“The one who had it fucking hands all over you on the bleachers.” He grumbles.

He growls and his eyes glow blue, “Stop saying that.” He says lowly.
“Saying what?”
“Ex.” He sneers.
I roll my eyes and mutter ‘here we go to myself. “Damion just because we kissed doesn’t mean we’re back together.”
“We are supposed to be together! I don’t understand why we aren’t! We kissed and made up. Now we should be back together.” He says as his voice gets louder. His eyes remain glowing as he gets angry. I am trying to not be hypnotized by him, but it is hard when he’s so fucking hot. The glowing eyes also don’t help. I love his baby blues, and when they glow I can’t help but want him.
“What’s going on in here? I heard yelling.” Mrs. Cruz says as she walks in with Mr. Cruz.
“Damion is throwing a tantrum.” I say as I roll my eyes.
“Maybe I wouldn’t throw a tantrum if you would just be with me and stop hugging other guys.” He says with a glare.
Blake comes in right at that moments and tries not to laugh as he leans against the counter.
“Lee, you
have to understand. Wolves are very possessive over their mates, and they need them to help keep them from lashing out at everything that pisses them off.” Mrs. Cruz
explains.
“Damion? Possessive? Never.” I say sarcastically.
“I am possessive because you’re mine.”
“We are not back together.” I say in a bored tone.
“Then what will get us back together? I am dying here.” He says dramatically.

I sigh and turn to him, “I don’t know. You lied to me, and after jason I just need some fin Warren, Max, and Kasey are now in the kitchen too. When I mention Jason all the
growl.
“I’m not Jason.” Damion argues.
“Well, you sure lie like him.” I shoot back.
Damion’s whole body goes rigid at my words. Nobody moves and nobody say a word. After
a few moments of pure awkward silence Damion loses it.
“Fuck this. Get your ass in the truck.” He says to me.
“What?” I ask confused.
“We are going to your house and I’m not leaving until you take me back.” He says while putting on his Vans and throwing on a white t–shirt that was laying on the couch.
I sigh, “Damion. Maybe we just need to take a long break.”
“Fuck no.”
“What do you mean ‘fuck no‘? If its what I need then it has to be done.” Everyone just watches us argue. Nobody throws their opinions, they just watch us.
“No you don’t need a break. You need me. Just like I need you. Now get in the truck, I won’t ask again.” He open his front door and waits for me to leave.
“Whatever.” I mutter as I walk out of his house and down the stairs to his driveway.
“Remember to wrap it b- ouch!” Warren says as he rubs the back of his head where Max
smacked him.
“Good luck bestie!” Kasey yells to me.
“Thanks! I think I’m going to need it!” I say as I glare at Damion who is walking over to open my door. Once he opens and it I get in he whispers in my ear.

He pulls back and looks at my heated gaze. He smirks knowing the affect he has on me Once he shuts the door I grumble under my breathe. He just got me all hot and ready just for him to walk away.
“Asshole,” I mutter as he walks around to the drivers side
He opens the door and gets in, “I heard that.”
“Good.” I smile sweetly.
At Lee’s House
“See something you like?” Damion teases as he lays shirtless on my bed while waiting for me to take him back,
His abs flex as he laughs a little making me clench my thighs. Then, to make matters worse he puts his hands behind his head so that his biceps are on display.
