Her heart beat picks up, which makes my heart beat pick up..

Lee’s POV:
“Are you ready?” Damion asks as I wait right inside his house.
I feel like throwing up actually, but I’m not going to tell him that. Right now he is introducing me to the rest of the pack. I said it was a little soon, but he said I needed to
know my people. Whatever thats supposed to mean. I mean what the fuck am, I damn
queen? What people?
Ok I would like to amend my previous statement, I am a queen. Anyways.
“Yup, fine.” I force myself to say.
He looks at me, “Lee, you know I can feel your feelings right? I can literally feel your
anxiousness, and

you reek of it.”
“I reek of it?”
“I can smell your emotions. Each one, happiness, sadness, anger, they all have a different
scent.”
“I bet I probably smell bad all the time then. I am always anxious.” I say with a worried
expression.
He laughs and then kisses me forehead, “Baby you smell better than anything I’ve ever smelt. Besides emotions, wolves can smell each persons unique scent. Yours is lemons and pomegranates… my favorite scent in the world.” He says while he buries his face in my neck and inhaling.

He laughs inside my neck and then kisses it. “I am your man.”
The front door opens and Kasey pops her head in, “Are you two coming out anytime soon? The whole pack is waiting.
I laugh and tell her we’ll be out soon. Damion stands up to his full height and we both get
ready to walk outside.
“Remember they’ll love you. And if they don’t, they will answer to me.” He whisper in my ear as he wraps his arms around me from behind.
I nod and open the door. As soon as I do I see about two hundred people standing outside in Damion’s front yard. The moon is shining bright, illuminating all the people who are staring
at me.
I see many faces that I know. In fact, I know almost all of them. I am absolutely shocked at the sight of people I have known since I was a baby. It is weird to think that I didn’t know what they are, but also comforting because it proves they really are the same as me. I know them, it doesn’t matter what they are. They are still my people, just like Damion said.
Damion puts his hand on my lower back and guides me forward, outside the house. I walk to the top of the stairs that leads down to the dirt yard, that is surrounded by trees.
“As you know I have found my mate… your future Luna. Many of you know her, but for those who don’t, this is Lee Emerson. Her brother is Luca, Amber’s mate. You all know what I expect from you, don’t disappoint me.” Damion says to everyone with a loud voice that makes goosebumps appear on my skin.
I look around and everyone is staring at me like I need to say something. “Umm… Does. anyone have any questions for me?”
A little boy, about six years old steps forward and I go down the steps to meet him. Once I am in front of him I bend down so that we are eye level.
“Can I give you a hug?” He whispers to me.
I smile so big, I am practically see him regretting his question. “Of course. Come here.” I say

as I open my arms for him.
He steps forward and wraps his arms around my neck as I wrap my arms around his little body. I would be lying if I said my ovaries weren’t begging for Damion to put a baby in me, but I realize being sixteen with a baby isn’t all rainbows and unicorns. So, the condoms stay. As well as the birth control I just got on, you can never be too safe.
“You smell good.” He whispers in my car as I stand up and pick him up.
“Cool it buddy. She’s mine.” Damion says while glaring at the little boy.
The little boy furrows his eyebrows and gives his eyes a quick glow at Damion. Damion growls and the little boy looks down. This makes me look at Damion with a glare.
“Damion. Apologize to…”
“Sam.” The boy finishes.
“Apologize to Sam.” I tell him.
“He was-”
I interrupt him, “Damion.”
He sighs, “Sorry Sam.”
Sam smiles and I set him down so that he can go back to his parents. After he leaves, Damion wraps his hand around my waist from behind and pulls me closer to him. He kisses beneath my ear and then we watch as Mr. and Mrs. Cruz talk to the pack.
Later in Damion’s room
“I love you.” Damion says as he lays on top of me and kisses my neck.
“I love you too.”

He smiles into my neck and I play with his hair. His kisses start to travel to my sweet spot, and when he reaches it he sucks. I moan and my back arches a litt as tingles shoot threw
my body.
