Chapter 123
He cups her face with his hands and starts to slowly lean in. My heart clenches when she doesn’t seem to pull away.
Is she really going to kiss him? Does she love him?
I can’t to see her face to tell what’s going on, her back is to me.
He gets half an inch from her face before she pulls back, “What the hell are you doing!?” She yells at him while pushing his hands off her cheek. Warmth fills my chest, and I bite back a smile.
She shakily stands up and tries to find her balance. Alex’s hand go to her arm to help steady her, but she angrily pushes him off.
“I’m fine!” She snaps.
She bends down and starts to unbuckle her heels, and I don’t even try to hide that fact that I am totally looking at her ass. My hands curl into fists as I remember what it feels like in my palms.
“Will someone tell me why we are standing on the football field, and why that psycho kidnapped me?” She asks as she steps out of both her heels and down to her normal height.
“Lee, nice of you to wake up from your little nap.” The man taunts.
“Shut the fuck up asshole. Just tell me what you want?” She demands.
He throws is head back and groans, “Ok lets start from the top. You and my son, Alex, will
be mates. Then, Alex will kill Damion and take his power from him. The little Alpha is the baby from a prophecy. He was born under a blood moon, and the moon goddess bestowed
him with the power of the moon.”
Lee’s lips part in shock as she looks at the psycho old man. “What?”

He sighs, “Have you ever noticed Damion’s eyes change colors?
“Ummmm….” She looks at me, “Are they…?
I nod and confirm that they are in fact werewolves.
She looks back to Alex with a pained look, “I trusted you. I was your friend. And this is what I get?”
He frowns, “It wasn’t like that baby-”
“Don’t fucking call me baby! I am not yours!” She yells at him as a few tears escape her eyes.
“You shouldn’t be his either. Remember how broken hearted you were when you guys broke up. I was the one who helped you. I was the one who hugged you as you cried over him.” He argues while walking closer to her until her is just a few feet away.
“We broke up because he didn’t tell me that he was a werewolf, just like you didn’t either. And besides, he is the literal love of my life. I will never be with you Ever.”
Lee starts to walk towards me, but Alex grab her arm and pulls her back against his front. She yelps as tries to get out of his hold. I look around and see the glowing eyes daring me to
move.
“I wouldn’t do it if I were you.” Alex taunts.
I look at him and he has his sharp claw positioned at Lee’s juglar. He could kill her with a single deep swipe of his finger.
“How do you even know Damion is the one you want?” Lee asks Alex’s dad while trying to remain calm as Alex’s claw threatens her.
He once again puts on a cocky smile, “Have his eyes every changed, I mean besides their normal blue?”
Lee’s eyes quickly go to me, and then back to the man. “What do you mean?”
“Based on how fast your heart is beating, I’d say you know exactly what I mean.”

I furrow my brow at look at Lee who has her eyes trained on the ground. “Lee?”
She looks at me and swallows. “They… sometimes they go… red. Glowing red. Other times they will switch back and forth between blue and red. Like your fighting yourself for
control.”
“When?” I demand.
“Ummm… usually when we’re… you know.” She says as a light blush coast her cheeks.
Alex growls, and Lee shoots him a glare.
“Well, now that you know our plans… I think its time we get on with them.” Alex’s dad says.
Lee looks at me with pleading eyes. Begging me to do something. Anything.
Lee’s POV:
I think today is the day I die.
Not physically, but emotionally.
Alex betrayed me. He made me believe that we were friends. And now I know, none of it was real. Instead, he is trying to kill Damion. That will be the reason I die today.
Tears prickle my eyes as I look at the love of my life.
I can’t help him. I can’t hold him one last time. I can’t give him another kiss. I can’t even breath when I think about him not being here. We were supposed to get out happily ever
after.
“I love you.” I tell him as a tear trials down my face.
“I love you too, but this isn’t goodbye for us.” He says.
His eyes start to glow blue and then he lets out a roar that makes the world fuzzy. Wolves of all different colors and size start to run onto the field. Then, I see a few people who look like humans, but they have glowing eyes, sharp K–9s, and long claws.
