Chapter 6
Upon learning that I had left with the divorce agreement, Elliana was overjoyed.
When she received the message from Axel asking her to go to the villa, she couldn’t contain the smile on her lips.
Without me as a stumbling block, she was confident that Axel’s obsession with her would make it a
sure thing for her to become Mrs. Sweeney.
Before going out, she carefully put on makeup and wore an extremely sexy low–cut dress under her
coat.
When she entered the villa, she had not yet noticed anything amiss.
I was slightly shocked when I saw Axel sitting on the sofa, looking haggard and unshaven.
Soon, ambition replaced.
She twisted her waist and walked over, skillfully sitting on Axel’s lap. She hooked her arms around his neck, about to tease him.
The next second, the whole person was suddenly flipped over and fell to the ground.
Elliana rubbed her waist in pain, and when she looked up, she met Axel’s icy gaze.
Like watching a dead person.
She shivered violently.
Swallowing saliva, I mustered up the courage to act coquettishly, “Axel, you hurt me.”
In the past, Axel had already lost his breath and was completely enchanted by her.
But at that moment, he stood up, shivering as if covered in ice shards. In her trembling gaze, he forcefully slapped a stack of printed chat records and photos onto her face.
The alluring photos were floating everywhere, all showcasing the achievements she had boasted to me over the past three months.
Knowing that the secret was exposed, Elliana trembled all over and was so scared that she couldn’t
utter a word.
“Did I ever tell you that I can give you everything you want, but I can’t make a scene in front of Meredith?”
He grabbed Elliana’s neck tightly, his veins bulging on his hand. “I have warned you countless times, yet you still dare to bully Meredith behind my back. Do you think that by driving Meredith away, you can become Mrs. Sweeney? What are you even worth? How dare you compare yourself to Meredith!”

He gritted his teeth, his eyes filled with fierce hatred, “It was you who drove away my Meredith, you deserve to die!”
Elliana’s face turned purple, and her strong will to survive made her desperately slap the iron clamp–like hand on her neck, but Axel, in his rage, was like a wild beast out of control.
She rolled her eyes, seeing illusions in front of her. Just before she almost went into shock, the force suddenly dissipated.
Axel stood up, took a step back, grabbed a tissue, and disgustingly wiped his fingers.
Two tall and muscular bodyguards entered from outside the door.
Upon seeing this, Elliana’s pupils contracted, she couldn’t even catch her breath, and she crawled and clung onto Axel’s legs, “Axel, I know I was wrong, I shouldn’t have provoked Meredith. Please spare me, for the sake of our child, please spare me, okay?”
She forgot that before Axel changed his ways, his hands were stained with the gray industry. His ruthlessness had always been ingrained in him. It was because of this that when he was being chased by enemies, they tampered with his car, causing it to flip and crash into the guardrail.
It was me who endured all the injuries and dragged him out of the car while he was unconscious.
When the car exploded, I threw myself on top of him, and both of my ears were deafened by the
blast.
During the time I was hospitalized, Axel was with me every day, but whenever he came, he had the
smell of blood on him.
I knew that he harbored a deep hatred in his heart, a burning desire for revenge on my behalf.
We survived life and death together, we survived the cutthroat business battles, we survived family
members who stabbed us in the back, but we couldn’t survive one Elliana.
Axel remained indifferent to her plea, even cruelly tugging at the corners of his mouth when she
mentioned the children.
“If it weren’t for this bastard, I wouldn’t have left the banquet hall, and Meredith wouldn’t have left
either. It’s all your fault and the fault of this bastard. Do you expect me to spare you because of
him?”
“Since you enjoy being a jerk so much, I’ll find a place for you to indulge in it!”
He waved his hand.
The bodyguard skillfully dragged her out.
Elliana struggled to break free, but finally gave up. “Axel, you coward. It’s because you can’t control your desires that you’re taking it out on me now. Meredith has long been disgusted by you, and she

will never forgive you in this lifetime. I curse you to lose your loved ones forever and have a
miserable life.”
Her mouth was quickly shut, but those words, like a curse, tormented Axel day and night in the following days.
