Chapter 6
Theodore, who was far away in a foreign country accompanying Skyla during her pregnancy, suddenly felt a dull pain in his chest.
Since the day he left, he had always had an indescribable feeling of unease.
At this moment, the feeling was so intense that he couldn’t sit still.
He dialed Matilda’s phone and made more than ten calls, but no one answered.
Theodore was completely panicked.
He wanted to go back, to go back and find Matilda.
But Skyla blocked him at the door, standing opposite him with her visibly pregnant belly.
Theodore held the person in his arms and comforted them as they cried pitifully.
Pregnant women are already sensitive, and he was confused in the end.
How could I leave her alone in a foreign country?
Forget it, everything at home has already been arranged properly, no one can harm Matilda.
Did Matilda go abroad to accompany Skyla for prenatal care, or did she have a fight with him?
Theodore knew that Matilda did not appear as generous as she did.
After he left, she must have been jealous.
Theodore rubbed his forehead, chuckled helplessly a few times, and felt a faint sense of joy.
In the evening, Theodore called home and Shaylee answered the phone.
“Did Matilda sleep? She didn’t answer my phone call.”
Shaylee looked at the crowded room and, under the pressure of countless pairs of eyes, hesitated before speaking.
“Mrs. Tanner went to sleep. She must be angry with you and Miss Skyla, and she said not to talk to
you until you come back.”
Theodore let out a long breath, a sense of relaxation he had never experienced before evident in his
tone.
“I knew it, she’s such a jealous person!”
haylee said again, “Mr. Tanner, it’s better not to call Mrs. Tanner before you return to the country. You know she’s pregnant, so it’s best not to upset her. If you have any questions, you can ask me.”

Well, Theodore understood Matilda’s temper and knew that she wouldn’t calm down unless he came back.
Anyway, in just three months‘ time, he would be able to go back and be with her and the children
forever.
After hanging up the phone, Shaylee was drenched in sweat, her clothes completely soaked.
Madam Horne said, “Three months would be enough for Skyla to win over Theo. By the time he returns, that fickle woman might have already been forgotten.”
Madam Tanner absentmindedly nodded her head.
She understood that he, as Matilda’s son, had truly fallen in love.
And she was always wondering what exactly did Matilda mean when she said that before leaving.
Although it is known that it was the woman who told the lie when she was desperate.
But why couldn’t she forget the way she looked at them back then?
Madam Tanner didn’t come to her senses until someone shouted at her to leave.
Three months passed quickly, and Skyla gave birth to a son.
Because Skyla needed to take care of her health and her children were too young, it was not convenient for her to return to her home country temporarily.
And because Skyla cried even more after giving birth than when she was pregnant, Theodore
couldn’t leave at all.
So, they stayed abroad for an additional six months.
Theodore was not patient, he wished he could fly to Matilda’s side early to take care of her.
But Skyla over here made him worried.
He could only be with Matilda in spirit, while his body remained like a lifeless corpse in a foreig
land.
According to Shaylee at home, Matilda also gave birth to their son.
That day, he didn’t know how to describe that feeling of happiness.
Although he promised Skyla to treat her child as his own.
But it still didn’t feel the same as the one he had with Matilda.
‘Theodore, he had a son.
Had a son with the beloved woman.
