Chapter 7 

He had made up his mind to raise these two children together in the future. 

They would become the closest pair of brothers. 

Theodore couldn’t wait to go back home anymore, and now no one could stop him. 

After hearing the news that he was going back to his country, Skyla knew that she could no longer 

procrastinate. 

I secretly made a phone call to Madam Horne. 

Skyla saw Theodore’s ecstatic expression and felt a bit worried. 

Madam Horne smiled and comforted her daughter. 

“Silly girl, I think you’ve gone silly from giving birth. Your son is Theodore’s biological child, what 

else are you worried about?” 

“Even if Matilda’s child is still around, it is still a bastard. Would Theodore really raise it as his 

own?” 

Skyla kept all her words in her heart, and no one could understand her. 

She couldn’t tell her mother that the child was actually not Theodore’s. 

She could only swallow all the uneasiness in her stomach. 

Now, all we can hope for is that in Theo’s heart, she and the child weigh more than Matilda. 

On the day Theodore returned home, the house had already been emptied. 

After I left, Madam Tanner disposed of everything in this house. 

So, when Theodore returned home, he was completely dumbfounded. 

Theodore’s parents, Skyla’s parents, and the Kramer family were all waiting for him here. 

Rather than being discovered by Theodore and causing a scene with them, it is better to take the 

initiative and let him know the truth. 

Theodore stood at the doorway, looking at the empty house, his legs feeling as heavy as lead. 

‘His voice had a deep tremor in it. 

“Where is Matilda, my son?”

Madam Tanner looked at her son’s injured expression, reaffirming that what she had done was 

right.

She took out the divorce agreement that I had already signed and calmly said, “You have already divorced, and she did not give birth to that child.” 

“We lied to you.” 

Theodore looked at the divorce agreement that was handed to him, and big tears fell from his eyes. 

“How could this happen? She said she would wait for me to come back.” 

Skyla just returned from the airport, holding the baby. 

After Theodore got off the plane, he didn’t wait for her at all and hurriedly came alone. 

Seeing Theodore crying in such a heartbroken manner, she felt a wave of bitterness in her heart. 

Madam Horne saw her daughter and grandson coming back, and quickly took the child from Skyla’s 

arms. 

I brought it to Theodore and showed it to him. 

“Theo, this is your true son, Matilda, that bastard, is gone and it’s no loss!” 

“Get lost!” 

Theodore was furious and raised his hand to forcefully push her away. 

Madam Horne almost dropped the child in her hands. 

Sir Tanner brought the child over and slapped Theodore to the ground. 

“Theodore, this child is the eldest grandson of the Tanner family, he is even more important than 

you.” 

Skyla’s parents exchanged a secret glance, both of their faces revealing a subtle smile. 

Theodore lay on the ground and burst into laughter like he had gone mad. 

He laughed so hard that he couldn’t catch his breath and coughed repeatedly. 

“A bastard, how dare you compare yourself to my child?” 

“Didn’t Matilda tell you? The child in her belly is mine.” 

Theodore sat up from the ground and slowly reached out his hand to play with the baby in Sir 

Tanner’s arms. 

His eyes were filled with overwhelming hatred.
