Chapter 305
James slowly woke up, feeling the presence of doctors around him checking his condition. Realizing that he had been saved, he gradually felt his body regaining its strength. His mind began to clear, and the memories of the battle with Uesugi at Sakura Ridge came flooding back.
He vaguely remembered seeing his sister at the end, whistling to call out to him as he was about to lose consciousness.
It’s good to be alive. He was eager to meet his sister again.
Hearing crying, James slowly turned his head and saw the woman standing by his bed.
His sister Caitlin had arrived by his side at some point, silently crying without calling out to him.
A wave of pain hit James’s heart, his throat tightening. “Caitlin…”
“Harrison…”
Seeing James reach out, Caitlin stepped forward and took his hand.
The two siblings‘ hands finally held each other tightly, and Caitlin was overwhelmed with emotion. As they looked into each other’s eyes, both couldn’t stop the tears that streamed down their faces.
So many things they wanted to say, but the words caught in their throats, thick with emotion.
“I’m sorry, I…”
James apologized once more for his past actions.
Caitlin shook her head through her tears, finally leaning on her brother, crying, “I should be the one apologizing, Harrison. It’s my fault for not taking care of you, and for blaming you…”
“Thank you, knowing you’re my real sister, I’m so happy…”
James, still weak, spoke faintly. Caitlin stood up, wiped her tears, and gently wiped his tears as well.
“I’m also so happy. I’ve found you, and you’ve grown into an adult.”
Caitlin gently touched his face, both of their hearts overwhelmed with emotion.
“Do you know? All these years, I never gave up looking for you. I’m so glad, finally, I’ve found you. You’ve suffered so much, Harrison.”
James shook his head. “As long as I can be reunited with you, I would endure any hardship.”
The siblings talked for a long while. Finally, with tears in his eyes, James asked, “Sis, is it true that Mom has really passed away?”
James had known about their mother’s death, but it was four years ago, and he hated himself for not remembering sooner, for not getting the chance to see her one last time.
“No, our mother might still be alive. Harrison, I’ve confirmed that she didn’t die.”
“Really?”

The news made James feel a surge of hope.
“Yes.” Caitlin nodded.
“Then where is Mom now?” James asked, his voice trembling, and tears welled up in his eyes again.
“I don’t know where she is. Four years ago, she wasn’t dead. Someone faked her death, and she was kidnapped.
“Since I returned, I’ve been investigating her case, and I’ve uncovered that a top–tier assassin called Black Hawk is preventing me from further investigation.
“I suspect that Black Hawk took Mom, and Black Hawk is working for someone, but the mastermind remains unknown for now.
James looked shocked, his brows furrowing deeply.
“Black Hawk… I know him.”
“You know him?”
Caitlin asked, a bit surprised.
“When I was on a mission in V Country, I clashed with him. From what I know, his backer is the Yuncey Family in Departure City
“The Yuncey Family? I see now!”
Caitlin was even more surprised. If Black Hawk’s backer was the Yuncey Family in Departure City, then her mother’s disappearance must be connected to them.

Maybe the only way to find her mother was to go to Departure City and investigate the Yuncey Family.
James had provided Caitlin with a very important lead. If they followed this lead, they were bound to find her mother!
Caitlin then asked, “Harrison, you haven’t told me yet, the person who instructed you to come to the US for the mission, is he the one who took you from the Willow City Monastery in V Country 13 years ago? Who is he?”
“My master, Dustin. He founded The Silent Order. I was taken back by him, trained to become a death disciple, and I even took his surname.”
“Dustin, The Silent Order?”
Caitlin had heard of The Silent Order. It was a more secretive organization, similar to Shadow Moon Pavilion, but even more mysterious. No one knew the details about The Silent Order, and its disciples were even more elusive.
She never expected her brother to have been taken by Dustin, the head of The Silent Order!
“Tell me, where is their base? I want them to pay!”
The thought of The Silent Order taking her brother, training him as a death disciple, using him to find the codex, and even trying to kill him made Caitlin’s blood boil. She had to settle this score!
“They’re located in the north of V Country…”
James told his sister everything he knew. Caitlin nodded, “Got it, Harrison. Rest up. Once you’re better, we’ll go find Mom

“Yeah.”
After James rested, Caitlin left the special observation room.
Sebastian was waiting outside. When he saw her, he asked, “How is he? Did you find out anything?”
Caitlin nodded and told him everything James had said.
Sebastian immediately decided, “Now that we know The Silent Order’s base, we can’t waste any more time. I’m sending people there right away to clean them out!” After contacting The Obsidian Order, Caitlin said, “Let’s go. I’ll go with you to see Jasper!”
Today was not only the day James woke up, but also the day Jasper, Vincent’s father, was discharged.
Sebastian, Caitlin, and Vincent, along with Hazel, all went to the hospital to pick him up.
Sebastian had already resolved the issues regarding Jasper’s case, and now, he could return home under his own name.
As they drove through The Vanderbilt Family’s gates, Jasper was emotional, with tears welling up in his eyes.
Though he had lived here for eighteen years, it was always in Raymond’s place. Today, he was returning home under his own name.
The car finally stopped in front of The Vanderbilt Family mansion. Sebastian, Caitlin, and Vincent all got out.
Hazel turned to help her father. “Dad, come on, let’s go inside!”
Jasper got out of the car and looked up at the familiar mansion.
At that moment, the elderly Beatrice, along with others, was already standing at the door waiting.
Jasper, accompanied by Sebastian and the others, walked toward the door and toward Beatrice.
Beatrice, her eyes filled with tears, hurried over to her son.
Jasper stepped forward and took his mother’s hand. “Mom…”
“Son…”
Mother and son embraced, tears streaming down their faces.
No one spoke; they just held each other, tears flowing freely.
“Alright, Grandma, Jasper, let’s go inside and talk,” Sebastian suggested.
Jasper released his mother, supporting her arm as they walked into the house.

She turned to Sebastian and asked, “Have you checked Hayden’s background?”
