Chapter 33
Outside the room, Lukas answered Emily’s call. “Hello,” he replied with a cold tone.
“Lukas, please don’t marry someone else. Wait for me a little longer, okay?” The moment Emily opened her mouth, it was evident that she had already cried.
“It’s too late!” Lukas’s voice was cold and emotionless.
Seemed to be feeling provoked, Emily got angry and shouted in a tearful voice, “You will regret this, Luke! We are never getting back together even again in my lifetime!”
Lukas hung up the phone with an indifferent face. Regret? Ha! That word never existed in his dictionary.
He quickly turned around and opened the door. He walked toward me, who seemed lost in my thought. “Are you ready?” He asked me in a deep voice.
Of course, I knew what he was talking about. What should happen would happen. With that, I looked up into his eyes. “Yes.” I nodded.
Lukas lifted me without breaking the gaze and carried me to the room with a bed full of rose petals.
He laid me on the bed, and the rose petals scattered around us.
I was extremely nervous. I feared that Lukas would notice something wrong, so I closed my eyes as I’m holding onto him tightly.
Lukas hadn’t originally planned to take things this far with me. He uttered those previous words with just the intention of testing me, but Emily’s words further strengthened his resolve.
After tonight, he wouldn’t give himself any reason to look back at her!
He gently kissed my earlobe, making me cling to him even more tightly.
As the two were about to be intimate, Lukas felt a barrier…
I suddenly tensed up in his arms, and not long after. I cried out in pain. “Ah!”
Lukas’s body stiffened, and he felt a flicker of surprise. His eyes deepened, “Is this your first time?”
Blushing, I turned my head and didn’t say anything. My voice was barely audible, “Yes.”
I believed in chastity. I had always insisted on marrying first, becoming legal, and then fulfilling the marital duties.
I had no idea that Lukas thought otherwise, that having a boyfriend was equivalent to being done with all four bases.
Lukas raised an eyebrow. Forgetting about the call from Emily, his voice was tinged with pleasure, “Then why didn’t you tell me?”

My face grew even redder, “How could I take the initiative to tell you about this?”
Lukas was a bit stunned for a moment, then his lips curled slightly. I was right, there was no way to explain this
situation.
Well, as long as he wasn’t a fool, he would certainly know!
He got up and sat up from the bed, feeling quite pleased. “I’ll take a shower first.” He declared.
I was a little surprised. With my face still blushing red, I asked Lukas with a hint of nervousness, “Aren’t we going
to…continue this?”
Lukas turned around and looked at my calmly, “For such a wonderful moment, I’ll give you time to prepare properly. I can’t be careless with you, especially since this will be your first time.”
At that moment, he felt an inexplicable sense of tenderness toward me.
My heart trembled, feeling somewhat touched by what Lukas said. Maybe there is more beneath that tough and cold
hard shell of that man.
The next morning, when I woke up from sleep, I discovered that Lukas had already gotten up.
After washing my face, I went out of the bedroom and saw Lukas sitting in the living room, watching financial news.
When I appeared in the living room, he looked up to me. “Come over and let’s have breakfast. Afterward, I’ll take you to the company.”
I nodded and had breakfast with him.
As we were having a meal, I noticed that Lukas didn’t say a word while eating.
After finishing our meal, Lukas dropped me off at my company, just like he said, and left.
Then I began to work on my revenge plan against my ex–lover Jacob and my stepsister Bella. I worked overtime to create draft jewellery designs in order to carry out my revenge plan.
Previously, Jacob had set up a workstation for me in his company in order for me to produce more design drawings, allowing me to carry out work for them without pay, with the pretence that it was to encourage my interest.
At noon, I only had a few bites of lunch and focused entirely on the design I was crafting.
At 3:30 in the afternoon, I finally completed the new jewelry design. I quickly backed up the files on my computer.
Then, I locked away the original design and purposefully left a backup on the desk before heading out somewhere.
When I returned, I saw Bella looking at my backup design draft, her eyes shining.
I sneered inwardly. I knew Bella’s character very well; as long as I drew better designs, she’d want to claim them as

her own.
Bella smiled as she looked at me, “Aurelia, is this your new design?”
“Yes,” I gave her a light nod.
“This is amazing! Well–drawn, exquisitely designed, the effect will surely be even better when it’s made!” Bella is thrilled as if she had drawn the design herself.
I remained calm, though I am getting mad at her. “Don’t you have anything else to do?” I asked coldly.
“No! “Bella immediately smiled and shook her head. She then walked away, humming to herself in delight.
As soon as Bella was gone, I received a call from Jacob. “Aurelia! Come to my office immediately!” Jacob said with a sense of urgency.
