As the collision erupted in a blaze of fury, Elias’s body was jolted forward, only to map back, his elbow colliding harshly with the car door.
A sharp pang of pain contorted his features, and he realized his left arm was probably injured
Inside the Hummer, James seemed nonchalant about the newly acquired dents and scrapes etched across hús vehicle.
He regarded Elias in the sports car, a smirk of arrogance and disdain tugging at his lips. “Ants shaking a tree, overestimating your abilities.”
Without further ado, he accelerated away, leaving Elias to simmer in his frustration.
Elias’s clenched fist met the steering wheel in a futile punch, only to be met with a renewed wave of pain.
Lukas received Elias’s call when Elias sat in the ambulance.
Grievances pouring from his mouth, he elucidated the entire sequence of events. “Lukas, you can’t even imagine how insufferably arrogant that bastard is. He flipped me off and admitted it was deliberate. Damn it, I’m practically boiling over! Once they release me from this hospital, I’m going to wipe the floor with that asshole!
“You’re certainly a spectacle. Managed to only hurt yourself by crushing to others.” Lukas’s tone remained
nonchalant.
Elias retorted, “He provoked me on purpose. He rammed into me first. It’s all because we snagged your designer away last night. He’s deliberately itching for a fight!”
A tinge of exasperation tinged Lukas’s voice. “Enough with the absurdity. What’s the sense in crashing your sports car into his Hummer? Did you leave your brain at home today? If you genuinely want to take a swing at him, how about using a tank next time and simply run him over?”
A chuckle broke free from Elias, dispelling his sulky demeanor. “You’ve got a point there. I’ll consider a tank for our next encounter, just to be safe.”
Upon ending the call, Lukas made his way directly to the hospital.
Meanwhile, in Ava’s hospital room, I noted her peaceful slumber. I decided to step out for a moment to purchase necessities she might require during her stay.
To the east of Rivers Health Medical Center lay a sprawling supermarket, accessible through a narrow alley.

This was swiftly followed by the audible thuds of fists and feet making brutal contact, accompanied by a symphony of enraged curses. “You hypocrite, playing the saint? Today, I’ll strip away that facade, you bastard!”

I never expected that when the bag was removed, a handsome face would appear before my eyes.
