“Is there some Heart Ease Powder in this soup Yvonne looked William.
A bit taken aback, William gathered himself and said, “The one who brought the soup mentioned that Heart Ease Powder works like a charm for the heart and won’t screw things up when mixed with other herbs”
“That’s correct. Finally, Yvonne pinpointed the issue. “But Matthew’s in a bad state and can’t handle all this good stuff. Sipping on this soup resulted in adverse effects.
“So, it ain’t the soup’s fault, just that Mr. Matthew Sanchez’s system can’t handle it?” William didn’t expect Yvonne to be quite competent, identifying the root cause with just a whiff
Just then, the door of the operating room swung open, and a nurse bolted out in a rush. “Mr. Christopher Sanchez, it’s great to see you. Could you please sign this surgery notification form
Christopher eyed the paper and pen but didn’t take ‘em, asking in a frosty tone, “How’s my grandpa doing?”
“It’s rough. But trust us. We’ll do everything to save Mr. Matthew Sanchez. And would you mind signing here,” the nurse insisted
Christopher glanced at Yvonne. “What’s your take on this?”
“He is not that far gone yet. Yvonne knew what signing the form meant. Checking the time, she added, “I’ll be back in a
moment.
She then handed her single–strap bag to Christopher, who took it naturally, making all the people around stunned.
“Who’s this girl?” William sked in confusion. ‘She asked Mr. Christopher Sanchez to hold her bag! Amazing!”
“Ain’t the operating room over there? Why’s she jetting off in the opposite direction? Marty was lost.
“Mr. Christopher Sanchez, Mr. Matthew Sanchez’s situation is super tight. Please make a decision quickly. The nurse was jittery, not getting why Yvonne was playing around at a crucial moment, stalling treatment.
Yvonne headed to Yaron’s office to grab some needles, then had the nurse guide the way to change into asepsis clothes.
“Mr. Christopher Sanchez, what’s going on? The nurse was zonked, peeking at Christopher. ‘Is this girl sure gonna operating
on Mr. Matthew Sanchez? She isn’t even legal yet, is she? Is she gonna mess him up even more? Sirl sure gonna operating
“Stick with what she says” Christopher’s words pumped Yvonne up. “Whatever she orders next, roll with it.”
The nurse caught on and kept her trap shut, speeding Yvonne inside.
“Mr. Christopher Sanchez, let’s chill in the observation room and see how things go with the surgery,” Marty advised:
“Okay” Christopher took Yvonne’s bag and led the way.
In the operating room, as soon as Mark caught sight of Yvonne entering, a wave of relief washed over him. Without hesitation, he passed the lead surgeon position over to her. Ever since witnessing her remarkable medical prowess last time, he was nothing short of impressed.
The nurses were caught off guard. ‘Is this girl truly that influential? Could she be the fabled healer who has performed surgery on Mr. Matthew Sanchez, the talk at the hospital yesterday? If so, it came as no surprise. After all, even the esteemed heart surgeon Mark was outshined by her.
After Yvonne completed the remaining surgeries, Matthew’s breathing remained feeble, painting a grim picture.
