Following Christopher were a few of his followers trying a bunch of fancy gifts. They set them down and waited outside. Marty remained by Christopher’s side, showing respect.

“Christopher, what brings you here today?” Cherry was the first to react, eyeing the gifts. She smiled warmly and said, “You really shouldn’t have brought all this. You’re fantily”
“Christopher, come sit down. Kevin, bring some coffee here,” Yusef warmly said, “It’s been a while since Wayne went off abroad. You haven’t dropped by in ages. Let’s catch up tonight.”

Christopher thought she was going to mention the engagement that was made back then, so he nodded and patiently listened as she continued.
Cherry recounted the incident of the fire at the hospital, and then said, “We only found our real daughter a few days ago and haven’t publicly announced her identity yet. Even her grandparents don’t know about this. We weren’t trying to keep it a secret from you or the Sanchez family”

Christopher and Marty were left full of questions.
Cherry knew that the truth couldn’t be hidden any longer at the joint, so she said, “Lily, please bring Ms. Lynch down.”
Marty glanced at Cherry and then at Christopher, puzzled. What’s going on here? Mr. Sanchez’s fiancée isn’t Ms. Samantha Lynch? This marriage is definitely getting annulled. If he doesn’t even want a pretty and talented socialite like Ms. Samantha Lynch, why would he want some unknown country girl?”
Christopher’s eyes darkened with thought, contemplating something deeply.
Having just finished her shower, Yvonne heard Her mother’s call and headed downstairs without hesitation. Clad in a thin silk nightgown with her hair up, her slender white legs caught everyone’s eyes.
Marty couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw that it was Yvonnes she really the Lynch family’s lost daughter? he thought in
disbelief.
Christopher raised an eyebrow, pondering, “It’s her? Is she the true heiress of the Lynch family?”
As soon as Yvonne walked downstairs, she was taken aback when she spotted Christopher lounging on the couch with a subtle hint of a sly grin on his strikingly handsome yet mischievous face.
“Why is this guy in my house? Yvonne thought, her eyes showing a hint of confusion. “Mom, you want to talk to me?”
“Come here. Yvonne, sit next to me,” Cherry said, gently pulling Yvonne’s hand as they both settled down. “Let me introduce you. This is Christopher. Many years ago, the Lynch and the Sanchez families had an engagement, so technically, Christopher here is your fiancé,”
Yvonne was surprised. What? My fiancé? In this day and age, do we still have arranged engagements?”
“This is our long-lost daughter, Yvonne Owens Lynch, Cherry introduced her to Christopher.
For a moment, Christopher’s eyes softened a bit as he thought, ‘So it really is her. I only knew her as Yvonne before and didn’t expect her to be a Lynch”
Marry had a sudden realization. So that’s Yvonne’s full name. No wonder she boldly stepped up in the hospital against everyone and even made Sonia kneel. She’s definitely got sotne major backup.
Samantha hid on the second floor, eavesdropping, thinking Christopher had come to confront her over Matthew’s matter. To her surprise, he was here for Yvonne. She stuck her nails deep into her palm, a touch of anger flaring up as she thought.. Why did Yvonne have to show up? Why did she come back? Why did she take away everything that belonged to me?
“So, Mr. Sanchez, what brings you here today?” Yvonne gazed at Christopher, not understanding his intentions.
Christopher looked at Yvonne’s bright eyes and slightly pursed lus lips, showing a captivating glint in his eyes. “I heard my fiancée had just returned to this house, so I brought some gifts.
Marty’s eyes widened in disbelief, staring at Christopher, thinking. Mr. Sanchez, aren’t you here to break off the engagement? How did it turn into a friendly visit? Did you change your mind because the betrothed is Yvonne? You changed your stance too quickly.
Despite the rumors of Christopher being cold, ruthless, and harsh, after these years of interaction, Cherry highly approved of his character, knowing he was dependable, capable, and responsible. Setting aside the rest, in terms of looks, wealth, and abilities, he was the best. If her daughter could marry him, the latter half of her life would undoubtedly be happy and carefree, and Cherry and Yosef would have no worries.
Yvonne didn’t expect Christopher to be her fiancé.
