The room fell silent, all the doctors taken aback. He’s really planning to dive into this mess with the young girl?
“Come with me,” Yaron wasted no time with them and shot Yvonne a look. He was leading her to the operating room.
Yvonne smiled slightly as she passed by Sonia. “Remember how you said you’d twist your head off?”
Sonia was left speechless. She did say so, since she didn’t expect Yaron to agree. Wasn’t he always arrogant? Why the sudden change? Is it because he found the girl attractive?
Yvonne’s lips turned up slightly. “Don’t go back on your word.”
“My word?” Sonia suddenly recalled. “Oh, I said if you could save Mr. Matthew Sanchez, I’d apologize to you in public. But can you handle it? Don’t mess up and then try to pin it on us!”
