Chapter 1
The moment they dragged me toward the coffin, I desperately grabbed the lid with both hands.
*Lucas, I’m carrying your baby! Look at the test results!”
“bont lock me in here- freak out in tight spaces! I’ll die in there!”
1clutched my throat, gasping for air, begging Lucas Stone to just glance at my phone.
Instead, he smacked it deep into the coffin with a loud bang.
“Giselle Moreau, there’s nothing more ridiculous than your lies.”
“I got snipped after Sophia got pregnant–there’s no way you could be carrying my child!”
“Seducing me, drugging me, driving Sophia to 365 suicide attempts–locking you up for one day is getting off easy!”
As Lucas finished speaking, he yanked the coffin lid back down.
I pressed against it with all my strength, my pinky finger getting crushed and twisted.
I screamed in agony, cold sweat pouring down my face as I looked at the three boys I’d raised for a year.
Ethan, the eldest, let out a cold laugh and hurled the watermelon in his hand straight at my head.
“Disgusting whore! You think you deserve mercy?”
Liam, the middle son, smiled and linked arms with my stepsister Sophia Blake.
“You’re not our mom, you bed–hopping bitch! Only Aunt Sophia can be our mother!”
Little Oliver Stone couldn’t speak clearly yet, but he clapped his hands and sang along.
“Disgusting whore, bed–hopping bitch…”
My heart went ice cold as I stared at the four of them through my tears.
After marrying Lucas, I’d given everything to this family of four.
Lucas was rough and brutal every time we had sex.
After every time we slept together, I’d be in pain for days.
But I still did my best to please him.
I also treated those three boys like my own children.
Ethan had poisoned my food multiple times–the worst incident sent me straight to the hospital.
Liam sabotaged my race car, and on race day, I nearly died on the track I loved most when it spun out of control.
Oliver was just a kid, but every time we went out in public, he’d pretend I was abusing him–I got arrested by the cops several times because of his act.
Tears streamed down my face as I couldn’t understand why they treated me this way.
Every time they hurt me, I responded with genuine love.
I thought they would eventually accept me
Now I realized it was all just wishful thinking on my part.
I lay struggling in the cramped coffin, desperately pressing my hands against the lid, but it was useless.

“The coffin slammed shot completely,
The darkness and confined space made me break out in cold sweats, gasping for air.
Bang Bang Bang!”
I pounded frantically on the coffin lid.
I desperately begged the four of them outside.
But I heard Lucas Stone let out a mocking laugh.
“Giselle, quit the drama!”
“There are air holes in the coffin–you won’t die!”
“Just lie in there and think about what you’ve done!”
Then I heard my stepsister Sophia Blake’s sweet voice chiming in.
“Lucas, what if she just kicks the lid right off?”
“Maybe… we should seal the coffin completely?”
