Chapter 60
Chapter 60
Sebastian had no intention of let it go. But Stephanie’s stomach suddenly rumbled.
Sebastian’s face became more ugly.
“Didn’t you have lunch?”
Stephanie muttered, “I ate little.”
Sebastian said nothing. He swept a cold glance at Macro.
Macro shuddered. He immediately defended himself.
“I asked you if you’re full. You said you were!”
He had taken Stephanie to lunch as Sebastian asked.
He shouldn’t be blamed!
Stephanie cut in, “It’s none of Macro’s business. Someone had a problem with me as soon as we started eating.”
Macro happily yelled, “Yeah. It’s none of my business.”
Sebastian cherished Stephanie so much that her surrounding people all might be blamed for her grievance.
Macro thought it unnecessary to still treat her as a child.
Suddenly Sebastian’s phone rang. It was a strange number.
Sebastian picked it up. “Hello?”
“Mr. Giovanni, it’s me, Jackson. Can I know what happened? You leave so suddenly. I…”
Before he could finish, Sebastian had hung it up.
“Elliot.”
“Yes, Mr. Giovanni. What’s the matter?”
“Call Jackson later. Tell him…”
Sebastian paused and looked at Stephanie.
Stephanie shook her head. “I’m not hurt.”
But it didn’t make him happier.
Sebastian continued, “Tell him pestering will not do him any good. He’d better take care of his sister first.”
Stephanie wondered if he was asking Jackson to punish Lilian.
She had conflicts with Lilian tonight at the party.
If Jackson knew Lilian ruined his cooperation, he would definitely let Lilian learn a good lesson.
Elliot nodded. “I see.”
“Don’t.” Stephanie cut in, “If you should cooperate with Jackson, then continue the cooperation. Anyway, I wasn’t bullied.”
She had always given priority to Sebastian’s interests.
Elliot glanced at her from the rearview and thought Lilian shouldn’t have confronted Sebastian’s beloved one.
In Fiorenza, the ladies who had jeered at Stephanie all got what they deserved.
People here were ignorant about his favoritism for Stephanie. But Elliot knew it very clearly.
Sebastian picked Stephanie up when she was just a little baby.
He never allowed anyone to make her unhappy.
Sebastian and Stephanie returned to Shallow Bay Area.
Dinner had been prepared. Once they sat down, Stephanie started gobbling food.
Sebastian served her dish one by one. “Don’t rush. Take it slowly.”
Macro commented, “Look how happily she eats! Separation gives her much benefit.”
Sebastian
gave him a hostile
gaze.
Macro didn’t mind. “I’m saying the truth.”
In Fiorenza, Stephanie used to be very picky about her food.
But things were different. For one thing, she was eating vegetables here.
-This was a positive change.
“Shut up,” Sebastian snapped.
“Alright.” Macro put a piece of roasted pork into his mouth, chewing.
Stephanie chuckled.
Catlin heard that Macro had appeared at the party.
But she had no idea he showed up with Stephanie.
She just called Chris immediately.
Chris was being watched closely by his family. Yet he managed to made his way to the hospital.
“Chris, I don’t want to trouble you.” Catlin said, “but we must contact the doctor in time, or he may leave Long Harbor.
“As you know, Olivia was very unwell. We need a good doctor.”
She was not lying.
Olivia had serious health problems. They need to be strict with her treatment.
A less expert doctor would make her suffer greatly.
Chris nodded. “What is the doctor’s numer
“Macro Vitale, a famous cardiovascular specialist in Fiorenza. Have you heard of hunt He did not recxve any more pres since two years ago. It’s almost impossible to get him operate for Olivia?
Catlin was worried.
Since she knew Olivia’s illness, she had been searching for great doctors all over the world.
Macro had never failed any operations. She paid special attention to him.
Chris was concerned.
Macro was indeed a top specialist.
“But he doesn’t treat patients anymore. It’s hard to persuade to operate for Olivia
Moreover, he seemed to be Stephanie’s friend. Persuading him was as difficult as persuading, Allison,
Chris couldn’t help but have a grudge for Macro when he took Stephanie away,
Catlin urged, “You have to try, Please, please try your best. Olivia needed Dr. Vitale
Catlin was anxious,
All she wanted was to cure Olivia of her illness.
Chris nodded. “How do you know he is in Long Harbor?”
“Someone told me. And he is said to be present at Mr. Benjamin Hodge’s party. It is confirmed.”
Chris pursued, “Do you know he came with Stephanie?”
“What?”
Catlin looked bewildered.
She asked “With whom?”
“With Stephanie.” Chris repeated the name.
“What does Stephanie have to do with Dr. Vitale?”
Catlin’s face turned pale.
With what happened during the past few days, Stephanie’s attitude was evident.
It would be hard for them to persuade Macro if he was Stephanie’s friend.
Stephanie had to do with both doctors!
“Both doctors are important to Olivia, you know.”
Catlin was heartbroken.
How she wished both Dr. Vitale and Dr. Pierce could help her
poor
Olivia.
With their joint effort, Olivia would make it through.
0
Now that they were both acquainted with Stephanie, it would be hard.
“We must try. No matter how expensive it will be, we will not give up Catlin said, holding Chris hand.
