“Mom, don’t get so upset. I think Stephanie must have felt the money we gave her wasn’t enough. She could have just told us. We…”
At this point, Olivia paused mid–sentence.
Even without finishing, everyone in the room was already convinced that Stephanie was being unreasonable.
They even started to assume that the money she earned was dirty.
Now, all they were thinking about was how to shut down her studio.
They left Olivia’s ward.
Chad instructed his assistant to contact Stephanie.
The assistant had to call several different numbers before finally getting through to her.
Stephanie was about to play a game.
The assistant said on the phone, “Miss Giovanni, Mr. Hart is now at the café opposite Cloudridge Valley. Please come out.”
Stephanie raised an eyebrow. “And if I don’t come out, what will you do?”
“If you don’t, your studio is probably as good as gone.”
The assistant’s tone was especially forceful.
Another threat?
Stephanie chuckled coldly. “Let him try and shut it down first, then we’ll talk.”
If they’re going to make a move, just do it already. They’d been going on and on for days, freezing her card, threatening her
-she was tired of it.
With that, she hung up the phone without hesitation.
On the other side of the line, Chad’s assistant stared blankly at him after the call was abruptly ended.
The waiter had just set down the coffee Chad ordered and walked away.
Noticing his assistant’s troubled expression, Chad frowned. “What’s wrong?”
“She says, you can just shut down her studio, she won’t come see you.”
Chad was livid when he heard this.
“Ahem. This rebellious girl–you didn’t tell her I’m here?”
“I did, but she won’t come.”
“Well, then go knock on the door and get her out here.”
Chad was furious.

Stephanie Open the door
Silence Stillness
The noise from banging on the door became so loud that, in the end, the neighbors complained, and even the property management showed up…
Chad was furning as he stormed downstairs. When he looked up, he saw that the windows to Stephanie’s place were all dark.
“Is she not home? What time is it now?”
The assistant checked the time on his phone. “It’s already past ten”
“A girl out at this time? If she didn’t want to stay at the Hart family and insisted on moving out, I should have never agreed.
Sure enough, after she moved out, no one bothered to manage her anymore, and she was free to do whatever she wanted. right?
“Call her right now. Find out where she is.”
“I used the phone at the café just now. My number is blocked by her
Hearing “blocked” made Chad even angrier.
She was blocking everyone, even her own father.
Furious, he returned to the hospital and immediately began to scold Catlin.
He blamed her for not properly disciplining Stephanie over the years, not keeping an eye on her when she came back.
Catlin, also furious, shot back.
“What do you mean I didn’t discipline her well? Who can discipline her like that? You?”
Didn’t she want to discipline her?
For years, Stephanie had been fixated on Olivia, and even when Olivia was kicked out of the Hart family, she still refused to live there.
Catlin had tried to discipline her, but Stephanie never gave her a chance.
“Mom, Dad, stop.”
When Olivia saw her parents fighting, she suddenly had a fit, her whole body convulsing with pain. It looked agonizing.
Both Chad and Catlin were startled when they saw her like this.
Catlin screamed, “Olivia! Olivia, what’s wrong? Don’t scare me! Doctor, quick, get the doctor!”
